God’s common sense VS. “Thug rules of charity”?

If you have ever been robbed before, or even if you were one of those special people who helped / rescued a person in trouble before, common sense isn’t a problem to understand, or even practice. It is those text-book theorists, who clams are to be disciples of wisdom, but then fail to use any, that then present the ideas— God, Evil, and Gun control, and lets also include ” Common sense, have nothing in common to each other. But then there is my question… What is right or wrong with, “God’s common sense  VS. “Thug rules of charity””?

It isn’t because I’m smarter than anyone. I’m not! But I do believe in some simple truths. God’s common sense can be explained like this. Placing your trust in God, believing that he gave you a brain to use to your full capacity, would be individually and personally empowering. To also take responsibility for using it, even when and if, you the user may come to think, your brain has met its capacity to do so. So many people are there already with the gun control issue. Not to say it may be a challenge at times? But then if you believe, you can then take hold of God’s hand, as your reassurance, that you can do all things with him. Of course accepting the concept of a God, or arguing with yourself, if there even is a God? Could leave you thinking that government will do a better job?

Though you walk through the shadow of the valley of death, you should fear no evil. If you believe in God, and trust in him, this is reassuring. If you don’t believe, and find yourself in the valley’s shadow, confronted by someone who wants your wallet, money, watch, car keys, and your wife and first-born, or your life? In short all of your stuff and maybe your life after all have been taken from you! Let’s just call it “Thug rules of charity”? Because believing in mob rule, has you accepting the role you have to play. Redistributing your efforts and stuff to those who need!

This kind of mindset is identical to the thoughts of government doing everything, because people with charity aren’t doing it voluntarily! All to avoid being called out by those thugs and their entire gall saying. You are the one with a problem of “Greed” not the ones who would take out of need!

While you are fumbling around looking for all that they are demanding of you, for your charitable contribution. You may be contemplating whether or not to pray to God. But then a thought comes to mind. God may have given you some common sense to use before getting to this point? But you didn’t listen. Like a strike of white lightning, you think… perhaps someone will call 911 on your behalf. Government and their agencies will come to your rescue… so stall if you can?

As luck would have it, someone did call! The time it takes for the police to arrive to your aid, the thug could have stabbed you several times, emptied his guns ammo clip into you and your family, or choked the living crap out of you. The main point is that police officers arrive at any crime scene ready to investigate just what happened to the victim/s? Police officers are also armed with adequate weapons to meet any possible remaining threat once they arrive. So why not some less violent confrontation methods? Why not control the kind of weapons, and ammo clips for the police in the same way as the population? If you think that is stupid? You should remember that there are no stupid questions in life. Just misleading answers of those who think of you as stupid— liberals, and government alike.

The only real question is whether or not you would at least at some point put up a fight, a struggle, or some kind of opposition while you wait for help to arrive in order to save your own possessions, family, or even your own skin, let alone the life of another (Like for instance you come upon a women being raped, beaten, or some such)? If the answers to these type of questions are about to be met with some kind of opposition in your thoughts as you read this. Then I must also ask…Would you stop to help someone who was in a car accident, a burning house? How about a dog or cat that a car ran over and is in the middle of the road? What is the difference?

The way I see it is, if you don’t want people to have guns (for whatever flawed reasoning) it is because you don’t wish to do the dirty work of being free, accountable, or responsible! You are a safety whore! A GREEDY person who wants to have the same things others do, “SAFETY from evil doers!” except your totally greedy about it! You would want somebody else to stop and help you in any and all examples already given in this post. All the while reserving the right to justify your inaction to do the same, because it would jeopardize your personal safety, in defending someone else safety. Or you just don’t trust yourself in doing what is right by the law, and if you had a gun? It could tempt you to pull the trigger on the unsuspecting. Not that you’re bad or evil—– the Gun is!!

So what was God’s common sense? Whether you decide to defend yourself and family, or how you personally choosing a weapon to use in such defense, or if you’re going to ever defend in some way against some stranger, or if you chose to do nothing at all? GOD gave us all the sense to know that evil will always be with us. So to use equal weaponry in opposition to the evil that exists, to the emanate threat you’re facing in your shadow’s or in your valley’s, we have God’s gift to exercise our 2^nd amendment rights. Unless you’re totally fine with insulting your creator who made you, and gave you more brains than you’re choosing to use? Why should anyone have to defend anyone’s burning house, by un-zipping and peeing on the fire, or helping someone in a car accident by walking the other way, or helping a women that is being beaten and raped by blaming the type of clothing she wore as your running away, and thinking, “Hope she had the time to get some of that free government birth control?”; or even when your left defending yourself and wife and kids from an illegal gun-toting criminal who is blind to following any law and is personally threatening everyone with it? Why should we have to wait for any help from government so far away? Was New York re built with government’s help after the hurricane that devastated parts of the city? Yea, that was real fast in helping people. NOT! Would it be using God-given common sense to quickly look around for the closest butter knife to offer as your primary weapon of choice for a gun fight?

Why should we ask government to out-law, the law-full use of self-protection equal to your evil opposition’s weapon of choice?

Why beat around the bush then? If we can do away with needless deaths of good people at the hands of evil people using a gun; 100% of the time crime is stopped by police officers with… wait for it… a gun! Why out-law the gun, when it makes perfectly good sense to out-law evil people and their actions they choose to use, no matter what the weapons they use?

If you’re liberal, and therefore think guns are bad, and criminals are just good people who are misunderstood, as well harbor a secret / not so secret support of evolution and or abortion? Consider, that the thug wielding a gun in your face, demanding your stuff or you’re life. Is the proof that evolution left on its own, was right in part? We don’t need government to get involved in tinkering with evolution! That gun wielding thug is evolution’s abortionist! Because you’re too stupid to even want the opportunity to choose, (Or use your God-given common sense) to choose the fastest acting, best weapon available to you in defending yourself. But instead you place your blind faith in cowering in fear, waiting for government help to arrive, while praying, hope it doesn’t take too long to get here.

Isn’t that kind of like…… if you should be a prisoner in prison and the one complaining about being raped in prison, hoping that guards will stop it, and soon! At some point in the near future at least you should having the willingness, to then realizing the facts are, it’s the guards who are playing match-maker for profit at you’re expence?

Are you ready and willing to accept those guards, as you’re only protection in this social asylum? When in historical terms of fact, up until the creation of the United States of America, there is a 100% accuracy rating, that all other Governments the world, over the last 6000 years, were all to willingly abusing their people, and their God-given rights, one of which as being— the right to self-protection?

So tell me again, how is it using your GOD given common sense, when you are willing to give you’re GOD given rights away to the devils of the world/government powers, who do abuse them? Isn’t that like saying? “Thanks GOD! But no thanks! Freedom to choose is so over rated! Bless us with tyranny, because we are running out of things to complain about these days.”

  Remember that global warming is coming? Wink! Wink! You know about our gas guzzling, oil drilling, electric abusing, carnivore attitudes  (like red meat devouring energy dinosaurs that we are), just CO2 producing travel addicted souls. Just who are we? Doing all of these things, just to kill the very place we live in? Not because we like to entertain with strawberries for our shortcake dessert, right after our exotic tropical fish dinner in february. NO! But the farther we have to go to get our food stuff ( Not that we ourself’s should go there. We have airplanes to do all that heavy lifting ), the more entertaining our dinner is for our unimportant guests. I don’t see a big problems after all. I’m the king of my world, and don’t mind sharing it with all of you out there. As long as I get mine! As long as my freezer is full, or at least the grocery store down the street has all of the exotic foods that don’t presently grow in my kingdom. Even in the dead of winter or at any other times for that matter. I decree it! At least a half-hearted demand, that all of those goodies are to be flown in!

But doesn’t that put more and more, hydrocarbons, co2, greenhouse gases, pollutants, into the atmosphere you ask? Attitudes of all of the kings and queens of the world are so self-centered. I then have to answer ” YES! ” But then I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like to eat regulary.Yes it does place more pollutants into the air. But even you, must come to a point of re-thinking evolutions way for modern man and having to adapting to the fact, that strawberries don’t grow were I’m living, in february. So it is up to each of us to compleat the evolutionary laws, in the cycles of life.

” everything must adapt to changing conditions in order to survive.”

Even if these conditions are changing right in front of our eyes. Like someone who spews out the warnings of (” The world is getting us hotter under the caller! OR! The global warming is upon us! The Ice is melting!”), what to do? Are we so self-inflated, over opinionated to think we are in control of the world, or the weather?

The science is pointing to global warming they say! Really? I thought science only points to the facts of truth. In fact, the scientific values systems or laws are.

1) That of truth-telling at all coasts.

If we alow science to stray away from the truth then we have nothing of value to base our opinions on. example : “Gravity doesn’t exist any more.” This seem to be a reasonable assumption to making for some untruthful science. Just in till we toss a ball into the air expecting it to just keep on going. But when it drops down striking us in the head? It to may knock some sense into our minds about what is true/false. ( Air plains that crash to the ground, is another example.) So what is more believable? Truth that is manufactured, or the truth that is? Is it our theory’s / believes, who are more important, or the plan truth? The thought of these outcomes using truth may then destroy our theory, thus our science. It doesn’t make it a good science to believe in, or just changing science to what we believe in. Telling a lie often and regularly enough, over and over to who ever who will listen to it. Often changes the small-minded. Science doesn’t make new facts of truth, or truthful science.

2) Applying empirical discipline :

If science is to have empirical discipline, can it be achieved through a lie or a half truthful theory? Doing so only for the purpose of a more favorable outcome of our own narrow point of view? isn’t empirical science! Then the only reason to prove anything  that we hoping for, by the way of using science, is to prove our believes are of the most important of all. Truth be damned! Using false science we then can recreate scientific facts of the day.( The building of our house of cards!) Only to reassure ourself’s, as truly being totally self-inflated, giving ourself’s a gin-normas self-worth by way of using science. More like saying ( Look at me!! Just look at me!!!). Well then, we have only fooled the fools that choose to believe it. Empirical discipline implies that we have no vested interest in which way the outcome should be. We should be asking ” WHY” with everything! Science should be in the search of truth, And the truth has no agenda!

3) Skepticism :

I touched on that already some what. This means that the scientist will always ask like annoying kid question ” WHY”! Having a total neutral bias to the science or its outcome. Just in search of the answers to why! Also applying a standard of having a never-ending discipline to question any outcome of such, for a continued search of the truth. To be human is to be fallible. There for we must change things that we can also prove to be false, if the science is to be true. To apply anything other than, a total open mind, or to be un-jaded as to the outcome, is to assume to be God like, or infallible. We must remember always ” The truth has no agenda! ” There for the truth doesn’t care about the outcome. If we really do not know the outcome to a theory we believe in, and the theory is un-proven to be fact, then we really do not know! Should we then be willing to admit it as such, or lie about it?

Those who choose to believe in global warming, also tend to believe in evolution for the most part. They believe that evolution says that in order to get the changes in the world, or changes that can be seen in fossils, as the history of the world that has passed. It takes a great amount of time (millions of years ). But with global warming they tend to use a fraction, slivers of time, if you will to argue their points. Even if we were to use the ice cores that are drilled by researchers. Who then will clam that they can look back to prehistoric times by the tiny air pockets in it. Being able to measure the co2 in these tiny air samples. As the information they then use to make computer models to take a wild guess as to what weather will do, 10 years, 100 years, or longer out in time. Yet they can’t even tell us about the weather a week from now to a point of 100% accuracy. How can they then recreate the weather of the past, present, or future? They never come to a reasonable answer as to what caused the ancient ice ages to melt either? That’s right they clam there were 3 of these major ice ages. They all melted, long before man-made industrialization, causing the co2 in the atmosphere of today. But not yesterday! Is this do to asteroids, volcanos, or mother nature ( this usually is code words for saying GOD)? What warmed the world so the ice melted?

You see without being able to say for a fact that these ice ages melted by__________ (you can fill in the blanks.) How can we then say anything like co2, brought the changes that seem to be happening all around us. In theory, is this artificial or man-made warming, through industrialization? Will this will lead to higher temperatures for the whole world? Using reasoning like, the industrialization as being the cause of everything because it is man-made. We don’t really know for a fact, if the world had much higher co2 levels, or things that better control it? Only using air trapped in ice. Assumes that this air, the air which also flows at the polar ends had these co2 levels. Using air flows of today is not accounting for possible different air flows of the past?? As for the rest of the world that had plant life abundantly in it. It could have had higher oxygen in it as well? Maybe these plants had better way’s of capturing co2?? Because the world is a violent place this could also assume there was more volcano activity going on, or even less? This would also lead to higher co2 levels, or lower, not totally recognized in the ice. So how many of these different things were truly going on? By all of those things interacting with each other to produce the environment of those days, is still just as much a mystery.  The word ” Mystery” imply’s this is the science of guessing at it!

But what is the average environment, or co2 in it all, past or present? Were the plants that don’t exist anymore, able to consume more co2 then the plants of today? Did dinosaur’s add to the global warming with methane gases ( Farts )? We don’t really know for a fact of what is, or was, there for, what are the averages? Net alone where are we in the scale of it all? Above average / below average / at the point of being average? Where are we? What do we use for the slandered standard of producing the scale of finding average anyway? What is the average temperature of the world suppose to be?

To then say it is mans actions as to the why. Is premature at best. But saying it with certainty, is more of a half truthful science. If we say man is responsible for all of the global warming! Then we can also can say, we can control all of the outcomes of it, as a fact. Can man control weather totally, by changing mans activities? If mans activities are only 1/2 responsible, then we warm up 1/2 as fast, by totally changing mans activities? But does the warming then continue to warm up at 1/2 the rate or speed? What if it is only .1% of the change taking place ( mans activities), if so then we control less and less you see. No matter how you slice it, we as men and women, still can not stop a volcanos from erupting! Just a fact.  How can man then control something that was in existence before man came to be? Just how did the former ice-ages melt? Mans activities do need to be controlled somewhat. But we shouldn’t assume that we totally control that what is for the most part uncontrollable, by choosing to control more tightly everything man does! (Mother nature ( God ) may have other plans.) Man’s attempt of controlling just what is in Gods hands, leads to loss of freedoms for man, while destroying the earth just the same.

To those who believe in global warming and are active in the promotion of stopping it. By stopping industrialization,  oil drilling, ect… People are only mad at the destruction of the earth and the misguided governments who are failing to control themself’s. In short they wish to upset the apple cart, by making an attempt at assuming the power of everyone through, the assumption of new leadership, a new management of sorts, by only managing the decay themself’s.

So in trying to also stopping the worlds ever-changing environment we live in. Man can pick up after his dog, when he walks the dog. If not! We make new laws then to control this! If no one does this then it will become a messy place for the rest of the world. But passing laws, that are to control our environment, like picking up after our dogs, doesn’t stop someone from stepping into some wild animals droppings. It only fixes some of the problems. Using this logic, we can out law factories from putting pollutants into the air to a  great extent. (This is not such a bad thing, in fact a good thing with in reason). But we as man / people can not stop an increase of volcanic activities in the world. so we could have more of the same or worse. Right? No matter if it is natural or artificial ( global warming that is.) Well in Al Gores mind he can stop everything. ( What about an asteroid that can destroy the whole world Al!) I think you can run but you can’t hide from that.

I think in using the style of the beginning of this post. It should then be said. Man can solve everything! Wink, Wink! If an asteroid is coming towards us ( the world), to destroy us? Well what would Al Gore do? After all of those problems, to then create some green solutions to our warming problems, is going to be simple. Right Al Gore?

Problems and they’re solutions:

To much co2 in the atmosphere? Create massive new dry ice manufactures. Dry ice is solid co2. This can then be stacked up at the north , and south poles. That should stop global warming because dry ice is colder than frozen water. As well it will re-freeze any premature ice melt off. It would spark a new growth industry of travel to the north, and south poles as well. Because of the cool fog like action that dry ice creates. It will be a real big draw for rock-N roll bands I sure. The fog could then cool the world as well? Now that’s just COOL!

Should we still have too much co2 in the world? Then produce more soft drinks. They have co2 in them, that’s what gives them the bubbles, when you open them up. Planting more sugar cain will put more plant life in the world and thus more oxygen in it as well! Great for the producers of soft drinks. Diabetes not so good!

How about the outlawing of massive homes / all houses? Yes only letting people build tree houses! It is better. A win, win in short! This puts more trees in the world, thus like I said more oxygen in the world. Nobody like to cut down trees anymore. So build homes in them. Use the co2 that trees also hold within the wood / themself’s. Providing the homes / shelter, for all of us. This also gives the proper environment to our government. More like a Robin Hood style society, a better environment in which to rob us all in! Through imposing environmental taxes on us all. Also it gives more ground space, gives more space for those cows to grow up in. For those meat eaters out there. Note to self must have cow droppings laws though! But then we can dry these droppings, and burn them for heating in our tree houses. Wow! That’s new shovel ready jobs too! I’m on fire!

Out law cars / trucks / the internal combustion engine as well. Unless they run methane gas / natural gas. ( That’s just a nice way in saying gas from cow, animals, humans, or FARTS! Methane is also a global warming gas according to Al Gore who doesn’t like it. Maybe that why he walks around all stiff. Could it be… he has corked his butt to keep himself from contributing to global warming? I can’t blame him on that one. Who likes farts. Maybe we should use hydrogen gas for cars and trucks. Their only out put is H2O then. Just killing two birds with one stone so to speak. But in the future air travel will still be nonexistent. Sorry! There is no flying cows!

If you think this is nonsense? Your only half right. I’m simply only helping Al Gore out. You see he is the biggest ostrich, who has chosen to bury his head into the kitty litter sand box of over inflated self-worth. Leaving only his butt exposed to speak out. Like in the movie “Pet detective.” Where the detective talked with his boss using his butt. Al Gore kind of sounds like that when he speaks out on the issues of global warming. His speech would be like… “Leaving myself in position of cutting the levels of methane gas for everyone. My policy’s would…” What? Can we just translating his muffled speech, while holding a lighter to his butt? Who knew that farts truly do burn!!

“Keep your mouth closed Al. That’s not almond-roca!”

If you thing that’s just crazy talk? Well your right! Nothing like listening to an over inflated person thinking of themself’s as a scientists that think they are bigger then GOD! OOPI!! ( I ment Mother nature! ). Who then also makes clams, ” We can, and will control the world!”

Pinky and the brain made the same cartoon like clams as well in their day. They can not even control the cartoon channel on TV. Even to air their new plans to take over the world, in hopes to win over new converts to the plan. ” Watch more cartoons!”

Hope I cleared some things up for everyone? Now my only question, I have to answer for you all you out there. Is the same one I will leve you with as the end of this post. I can’t do everything for you!

Ruining conversation!

Ruining conversation starts like…. On a typical morning with a typical young person just waking up to start their day they reach for their life line, the cell phone. Firing off a few text messages, checking Facebook status, making new up dates, all before getting ready for school. Rolling out of bed, taking a quick shower must have woken up the brain cells. A quick text to mom with their request as what they wish to have for breakfast, and lunch, then picking out some clothes. Before getting to brushing their hair, and teeth. The answer comes back from mom.

” If you wish to talk to me I’m downstairs!” Mom yelled out in response to the text messages.

This is the new conversation in life, as well as the only interaction being played out in most teenagers households today. If it isn’t texts, or 140 characters in a tweet, or a Facebook profile up-date, it’s not a conversation. Teens just have different out looks for what is or is not a conversation. Parents or at least the older generation look at this new way of conversations, as very limited interactions. One line answers, one to two sentences at best in response to a question, happens to also be par for course today.

When parents ask a question. The likely answer will be. ” Didn’t you look at my Facebook page? Or Didn’t you get my text, or tweet? ” Parents who don’t make the effort in checking with these new media forms are therefore left-behind, unrecognized, or made to feel as unimportant old geezers.

Even college students communicate differently then the previous generations and their counter parts, or the next generation that follows them. Collage students recall, they will e-mail professors over the use of a phone call, they reserve their phone calls and some texts for mom and dad’s. Only if mom and dad’s have the necessary skills to text back. If not, then the occasional phone call will do. With employers they still make the call reluctantly, but hold the conversation as brief as possible, or avoided all together if possible. Choosing to e-mail as the official form of communication if the employer also has the capabilities. But with their peers they text. In some cases up to 6000 text a month, or more according to their cell phone plans. Even group texting, happens to be the new conversation of talking to everyone not in the same room. That is where you send out a text to multiple acquaintances all at once. Like.. “We are going to the mall.” Everyone on their list then can go to the mall if they aren’t there already to meet.

It is no wonder that the older you are, the more likely you will pick up on these new facts of modern conversation, and how it has changed. But has it? When the tell-a-phone was first invented the older generation probably said the same thing. Truth is that over the years the conversation did in fact change. Just now days the change is more noticeable do to the speed of the change takeing place.

For the youth of the day one liners as their answers isn’t all that out-of-place. multiple conversations on-line with twitter and Facebook, has more of an appeal as interactions with their friends. Often saying. ” It is just multi tasking with conversations! ” Yet they don’t even recognize that they have practically removed themself’s from society itself.

They are missing out on the facial expressions, body language, even the sound of laughter. All of these kinds of additions to conversation bring emphasis to the words spoken, yet they are fast being replaced with typing “LOL” or some such. Body language is becoming a lost art form, as well as having the ability in understanding it. Impossible to send and receive the messages sent by body language through social media of today, through texts, e-mails, even in some types of phone calls. Body language has then become just as impressive as a blank page. Yes with phone calls you can still hear the other person laugh. But their body language is left out of the picture. So a phone call, was the change though slightly, over the personal conversations of the past before the creation of the phone.

Don’t you think conversation should then be also filled with expressions, more than the some of our words used?

Social awkwardness has led to some types of social mistrust, anxiety, phobias, even stress through the lack of self-confidence within the interactions of people. It seems the younger people tend to have alow themself’s with their conversations at least, to hide out in plain sight so to speak. In other words, not being themself’s in every situation, even avoiding some interactions.

Even college professors have started to have students introduce themself’s in class. In trying to open the doors of conversation and being comfortable in talking with each other. Some students have expressed that they didn’t like it at first. But admit that they spend little time in conversations with each other in person. Texting has taken over their lives. Not surprising then to see a group of college students sitting around a semi-circle texting to who knows who, rather than talking with each other.

The ideas of expanding the use of on-line-classes, will therefore only magnify the social awkwardness. People are social creatures by nature. Social media has allowed an evolution to take place of unnatural interactions, there for people have a tendency for creating in thought unrealistic expectations.

The generational divide has then become the grand cannon between young and older people’s conversations. If you ever had the phone conversation like this…

Parent: ” So what are you doing?”

Young person: ” Nothing.”

Parent: ” So what is new? Or why did you call me, and for… I mean you’re not saying much and you called me, so lets talk.”

Young person: ” Just wanted to talk for a while.”

Yet still remaining quiet for the most part… Too much like a phone call where you have been put on hold. The phone to your ear, but nothing but silence to lessen to.

Of course once the phone call ends, if the parent can also master the art of texting and is willing to do so. These younger persons can then also pick up the phone and text for an hour or better. Yet talking in person over the phone is like pulling dragons teeth! This is also the same with personal conversations when these people come together. In one word conversation is, “limited”.

I suppose the old adage of. ” If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” apples to modern conversations. Of corse most people have things they wish to say to others. It is therefore all in the delivery of it.

Using social media today, younger people look at it as refining their conversations and multi tasking all at the same time. Getting to the point and then moving on as fast as they can, often at the blazing speed of the internet, and their abilities to type faster than their parents. Talking in person some how must seem to them as ultra slow, even a kind of slurring of words in comparison to texting, or e-mailing.

To the older generation yet young at heart, this kind of conversation is a source of frustration, and more of a separation. In stead of closing the generational divide, the cannon is filled with a lot of awkward moments. Closing the divide, only requires a conversation using 140 characters or less or so it seems. Body language however, will become, antiques, romantic gestures of the past, misunderstood, and under used, filling young minds with wonder.

When they’re faced with taking a mandatory college class in the future ” The art of conversation, using body language 101.” I hope they will finely see the light, that a life of being a hermit of sorts isn’t as fun or as exciting. In fact, expressions that people give is far more interesting at times then the words spoken.

I for one intend to use the new house rule of…. No texting under the same roof / or in the same room. If you have a request I’ll need to have at least a 500 word conversation or the answer will be ” Bla, Bla, Bla!” Using all of my 140 characters as the answer you seek but only hear. Unless you wish to have some degree of embarrassment? At that point I will be glad to post to all, and every kind of social media, for all to see, as the newest video pod cast of you throwing your tantrums. Of course your responses to me, will be held to the strictest of rules! Only being excepted if they are under 140 characters in length, using the sounds of your voice. Love your new house rules.

V for political revenge!

If you think this is a post for some eyes glazing over boring political story well you may be half right! Or half wrong depending if you’re a half glass person! Doesn’t matter if your democrat or republican or independent, or just liven with no real interests of political news or conversation. The truth is, political decisions in washington DC affects us all! With this being a new year, political things are coming down the pipe towards us with an election later on in the year. Like november or some such. Who really keeps track. But I think these political party’s have just screwed up life for us all. No need to blame one of the two major party’s . More like they have both equally screwed up the economy/ the country. Blaming each other for the same things, forgetting the will of the people all at the same times gives them equal guilt for the greatest of sinful temptations by the ruling class. Greed of absolute power! This is why we have absolute corruption from the top down.

Seem to me they who are in power learned nothing from the movie V 4 Vengeance. But then these vampires of power would have to venture out of the halls of power, and risk the bright sun like light of the theater in order to see it.

Some would say there has to be some term-limits set on the politicians and this would save the day. Still others say they have to spend more money they don’t have.This will save the economy / the day. Still others come up with the ideas that we need more honesty in people who become politicians. This will save the day. Sorry to cut the last one short, but just how is that going to be? We are all looking to save the day by using vampire like people who would spontaneously combust if they ever told the real truth to people. politicians are like illusionist! Seems like they are not really paying attention to what is going on. But they are just setting up the next trick. They may be hiding their eyes so as to give an appearance of not looking, but they are watching anyway. Gauging to see if the illusion has worked?

No real need to be fooling ourself’s about the whole nature of a politician then if we saw the movie. They’re all scum, who will do any thing to stay on top and say or do anything to make sure that you and I will be on the bottom. Isn’t it funny they don’t believe in the top down theory of economics also known as trickle down. But they sure do apply this theory to themself’s, and the power they “Weald over us”. I guess trickle down only really applies to scum as they take a leak, just so they can pee on us all!

This year we will have plenty opportunity’s to talk to our neighbors at the water cooler about all of the different failed polices of government. But then most of us will be quiet about everything political, but overly vocal about who won American Idol, did you see the latest movie, Did you see entertainment tonight and what or who ______ did?

My parents once told me, as I’m sure as yours did also. That political talk, or religious talk will start more fights at any time and any place if there attempted. More fights than two cheating spouse, who just found out the other was cheating on them at the same time. If you throw into the mix political talk. Well then you have a real supper star cage match, saturday nights at the fights. It’s entertaining to watch. But not so entertaining to be one of their kids, having to live with the after math. Yet this is what it is like to be one of the many non involved, in political discussion of things. Not saying for anyone to join the into the corruption, but to keep up with the news of it all. Or like me, trying to see some of the humor in it all, by watching others fight about it.

Take the occupy movements around the country. They are bitchen about some who are or have become rich, while others / everyone have just become a little poorer. Yet they expect the corrupt government, who had a hand in it, all long the way. To fix it! Ha, Ha, that’s just reckless. Isn’t that like asking a vampire to give you a transfusion?

By the way over spending tax revenues by governments as their polices, has only produced seeing our money devalue over time. That’s why everything has become noticeable more expensive. Not that we have too much money held by only a few. Occupy movements only think the supper rich need to have less, and that will give each of us more. But wrong! Remember when our parents said a millionaire was rich? Now a millionaire has to be multi millionaire, or billionaire. One or two million doesn’t even cut it. Look at their lives ( our parents of course.) The average income in the 1970’s was about $30,000.00 per year. Now days it is $50,000.00. But in the early 70’s gas was priced at .50 per gal. I remember in the year 1987, in my neck of the woods gas prices move briefly past the $1.00 mark. I thought the world was cruel to expect us to pay this outrageous amount of money. Then in nothing flat $2.00 per gal was the standard. For a rich person this price move doesn’t hurt so much. If we then took the price of gas at the pump as the standers for our average incomes. Our incomes should be about $180,000.00 per year average. do to the inflation of gas prices. But because it is the price movement on everything, brought about by government policy’s that hurts the value of our money and that hurts us each more and more.

So why does it cost so much now? The money is less valuable. Nothing more than that. Just that easy to say. Look in the 1860’s a hand crafted mens suit cost about a $20.00 gold pieces. That same amount of gold to-day would still get you a hand crafted mens suit. Inflation increases the cost of everything. Governments controls inflation by printing money. Spending more than we can possible have. Only causes us to barrow money. But money has no real value except the taxing value of that country and its economy’s ability to pay it. It only looks like you have more money. Think of it like this. You have a pencils about 8 inches long in its length. The pencils length this is your ability to spend, or the value of money. By braking the pencils in two gives you two pencils who are shorter yet still does everything the same. Your buying power has shrunk. That’s inflation, and government printing money is just braking the pencils so they become smaller and smaller. All the while still saying you have more money in your pockets! But is your living standard better with shortened pencils?

Being rich in the 1860’s might have been, just having a few hundred thousand dollars to your name. Yet to-day a few billion is the same kind of rich. Or at least rich to the point that everyone believes is far more money then anyone can spend in a life time. A government that will not protect the value of its currency is a government that is slowly killing its economy and its people’s buying power. Remember debt just in-slaves the person who has the debt. When a government barrows more money then it has, it then in-slaves everyone!

Democrats blame the republicans for spending more money on wars. During Bush it was about 4 trillion in 8 years. But during the democrats in control republicans complained we have spent 4 trillion in 3 years. In both cases it is money that we don’t have! So we have in 12 years spent as a nation about 8 trillion dollars. What wrong with that? We have spent in 12 years more money then 223 years of previous government spending combined!

For democrats or republicans to blame it on ________ Is the illusion. The true problem is not anything other than, governments run away spending. If it were not for this spending problem, other things wouldn’t have to be so expensive. Money like the US Dollar would have a greater value, as I have already pointed out. The mens suit, and gas thing.

If we wish for true ( V is 4 vengeance ) at the voting polls. WE the people should vote for any one who is financially responsible. After all if we the people can’t spend to our hearts content, so “Why should government”? I know they have the printing press. But the one and only thing that gives the ( Mona Lisa ) great value is, there is only one! Why then should we be mad if there is someone who has become very rich because of God-given talents to produce new and wonderous things. It isn’t the fact of being rich that should get us mad. It is the fact of all of the money we have or saved is being devalued greatly by the carless over spending of our vampires of government. These disciples of destruction who’s only wish is to feast on what is left of the economical carcass of the USA. If they succeed at killing the golden goose, it might as well be a real life recreation of the night of the living dead for the economy we leave to our children.

It is not a Democrat or Republican policy alone that got us here! It was the policy’s of ” We can run up our credit card bill as a nation. Because our politicians have only fully intended to pass on the bills to the next generation as the price they should pay for giving ourself’s the grand illusion of being the richest nation on earth!

Has our youth woken up from their adolescent sleep? By their protests like those of occupy wall-street are they increasingly so open to the actions, like those in the movie ” V Is for vengeance ” ?

Just how you decide to vote this november is for you to decide, and only you! Remembering just how you voted in the past has influenced life, just as it has in the passed before you could vote. So then this coming vote will influence your kids futures just as much. So the responsibility as to whether they have a better life, then your’s is currently. Fully depends on if we intend on give them the bills of the past, for things that out lived their usefulness in the present, and are left to be rebuilt on over drafted credit limits?

Our founders believed: ” Debt is buying a horse on credit, and having to still pay for it long after it has died. Not much of an improvement in the future.” quote unknown.

” V ” can be for Victory over our spending problems!

” V ” can also be for vengeance for a crumbling future, and an unwilling enslavement of our kids, leaving them in having to repay our debts.

What will our youth be thinking as to what ” V ” stands for next? Will it lead them to take vengeance on they’re irresponsible elders?

Just a quick note : People of the year

Being new to the world of blogging / writing as well. I feel it is necessary to just say thanks to everyone who has visited my blog, or even taken some of your valuable time to read it. I set out to improve my skills in writing. But found out that writing is a skill about expression, letting other people see what you have seen, or what you’re looking at. Or maybe just a past event in your life. It could be an impression you have formed, an idea, or something that struck your funny bone. ( Not so funny if you think about it. ) At times the writer may use a broad brush in expressing themself’s. because the writer is the painter using words of sorts, even if he / she uses a broad brush in pointing out their views, and expressions. It is an art form.

At first I set out to express myself in things that struck me funny, or in passing down some useful advice. With useful advice it is funny just how people ( Even myself ) find their use of it…. or not! Maybe it is better to say repeated advice / or un-used advice. In any case, by writing it down it gives me the ability to go back in time and read my advice. It is more an exercise of self-help therapy. Not intended for the use of it by everyone. But if you find it to be useful, apply it then. No one is looking over your shoulders, so no one will know the difference.

Blogging is also a way of airing out some dirty laundry of sorts. A window in to my life or mind. Yes! At times it is good to clean house and toss out some ideas from your mind. Not so good to dwell on these ideas to long. But by writing them down on paper or in a blog. At some point, coming back some times later to revisit them, may be great self-help. Doing laundry gives you some new things to wear. Going over old ideas ( by reading what you have written ), may do much of the same things. Just sitting in and around the same old ideas will lead you to believe in, “ your crap doesn’t stink “!

If you’re doing things in your life to gain fortune or fame or notoriety. You will often be disappointed. Not that you’re trying to hard to succeed or that you don’t have the talent. But often just doing what you enjoy leads you down that road, that may also lead you to see great results after the passing of time. All the while you’re doing something that you enjoy. Fortune, fame, or notoriety may come along with you for the ride. But if it doesn’t. Your still enjoying yourself, and the experience of living life to its fullest.

One of the best things about writing is you get to express to others your imaginations. Its like letting others into your dreams. Through fiction writing ( Your dreams / thoughts ) other people are then entertained or introduced to your ideas. Letting others in to get to know you in this way may open doors in life that may impact life for all. Some writer had the imagination of space travel and some time later a man was sent to the moon and back! In dreaming, that what seem impossible. Someone may then write it down, at some point in time it may then spark new ideas, giving new life for real change, it then takes place. Not that all writing does these things, but the possibility’s seem endless. Who really knows the impact?

Recently I received a liebster award from my pal mooselicker. One of the first people to follow my ramblings. I was surprised to have gotten this award. And grateful indeed. Humbled as well. All though I haven’t lived up to the duties of receiving this honor as of yet. Sorry my friend, I don’t mean to disrespect the giver as if I was some ungrateful receiver. Truth is I’m a slow reader. Seem like that everyone that I follow has more than the alloted limit of 200 followers or less. Maybe it is that when I find them, they have less than the limits. But by the time I feel comfortable in nominating them for this prestigious award. Reading through more than one post of theirs. The numbers have changed. This tells me they are good at writing at least. To gain followers this fast. Cheers to you all! There sure seem to be a lot of great writers out there in the web. I would only hope to become better in my skills, in order to join them someday.

I do feel a mention of some of my favorites is in order though:

Thanks to each and every one of you all. Your stories and views, and your politics are great, in getting people like myself to think. We don’t have to agree. But having an open mind to new ideas, or at least to better ideas is what makes the world go round. Your entertainment value is great as well. The times that I laughed so hard, to the point of crying was as good as anything, even a cure, for when I was feeling down. The stories that gave me the ideas to get involved and take some actions. You know what stories they were I’m sure. Well they were the kick in the butt that I at least needed. To get me to see, I could do better.

To those of you who blog about food. I must limit myself from reading your blogs. I hope you can understand. It is only my form of dieting of sorts. Just less of a temptation, leading me to less of a will, to engage in uncontrolled consuming. Don’t get the wrong ideas, Your blogs are good as well. It’s all me! And my weaknesses!

Time magazine is dead wrong! They thought that the ” PERSON of the YEAR ” should be the ” PROTESTER “! Well they seem to over look the true people of the year anyway. We all saw many protesters, in many places. So how can the protester ( That which is more than one..) become the recipient of the ” PERSON ” of the year award? I must have missed that great one of a kind ” Protester “. Was it the jolly green giant? Truly the driving force behind any movement. The people who seem to inspire others. Should be asked ” Are these people who have the ability’s to inspire. Inspiring for the purposes of being positive, equally the same for everyone? Or are they only looking for their 15 minutes of fame? ”

I say the people of the year are those who have yet to be mentioned by myself. Though I may not know their true names, but their blogs have impacted me so. This list may grow or not! It will always be, by my choice. But the most important thing here is. These people have some great blogs and are a great reads, they have great views, and present great entertainment values, to who ever will give them a glance. We all can’t please all of the people all of the time. Just a fact of life! But finding some people we can please some of the time is successful living. If you think this bit-of-advice is crap? Well think it through! Having a threesome at some point, ( Not that this is an indorsement of  having threesome’s. ), but in having one, someone may feel a-little-bit short-changed? You know just who you are? So this advice is valid!

Time Magazine doesn’t hold a candle to these bloggers! The protester as the person of the year? Now that is crap! May I present to the blogging world the ” People of the year! Or as Time would present to you all. The PERSON of the year!” TA DA! ” The BLOGGER!”

Dear Santa this Christmas I want to do away with PC?

No! I don’t have any thing against personal computers, the other PC. No! It’s the( political correctness ) kind of PC, that I have a big problem with! Are you tired of stopping your self from saying something that is common place with most people. But then people who have most problems with others who are not PC are of sorts most problematic, of the uncommon people kind. Just what is the world coming to? Is the question I’m sure you have heard a time or two, as I have. Disappointing that we even have to ask, as if we have no control over our world. We are not the powerless! With only the PC people being the all-powerful. In fact it is the other way around, the weak, and thin-skinned, who are un-sure of themself’s that drives them to a point of total manipulation, in order to force us  unwillingly so, into some sort of political correctness. Also known as being PC!

Words have meanings or so we have all thought. That’s the purpose for a dictionary. To give us a way to look up words and their meanings. To be able to use them correctly.The PC types only have the goal of changing the meanings of words and their use of them in the publics mind, by way of force, manipulation, embarrassment, and when all else fails, use the powerful  lawsuits! Shouldn’t it all be for a positive change if any? Yet PC people have changed these meanings of certain kinds of words. All to rearrange the mindset of society in excepting their political views more easily. It is for the total self-centered, self-indulgent, to be able to appease themself’s, into believing all is well with their lives, and or the choices they’re making in living life. Maybe to cast out of their minds all doubt, or to give into the pinky and the brain thoughts of taking over the world! It is funny that these groups who are in the minority, are trying to control what goes on in the lives & minds of the majority. In a free country, and one who decides things by the attitude of ” Winner takes all!” it is a battle of the definitions of words and the use of them. Only taking on an attitude of complete control through manipulation, for their purposes of avoiding ones own problems with feeling guilty by their own chosen actions or inaction in life. This mind-set of the political correct kind, has only convinced themself’s they are not weak but most powerful.

Those who would use PC in order to change society. Often use it, without the use of really good thought. They are only offended by some words or phrases, and mad as hell because of it.To a point of needing to change this attitude, unjustly so. They often replace these words and phrases, which are ridiculous, if not out right stupidly so! Should anyone oppose their attempt to change words. They have the notion to attack these people with the belief of ” You don’t care about others!” A misguided view indeed. Those who wish to blindfold themself’s with PC attitudes, do not seem to recognize their own self-imposed over barring opinions, of self, as an offence of others. Not recognizing that is being stupid! They often replace words, phrases, and with them the attitudes of average people, in believing these new words are so much better to use. Because they then will not be stepping on other people’s toes. Yet they seem to over look, when in a mine field one shouldn’t make sudden moves!

Going to the US POST OFFICE to mail out some packages for Christmas. I came across many of my reasons why I don’t like to go there. First I got there, the line was out the door with others who had the same thoughts running through their minds. Second the US Post Office has become a place for the homeless to go and stay warm during cold weather. Much like other governmental buildings like libraries. There is a place, the outer court where the PO boxes are, that the homeless just sit and wait for spring I suppose. But for the people like myself who are clearly just trying to conduct business. This only complicates things by creating a human obstacle course.

In the back of the PO box court there was several people just sleeping. In the front of the room by the doors that also lead to the main room where the Post Office was located. There was this young man, who was engaged in a battle with darkness. This epic battle between good and evil. Yet true to form, evil was invisible to all but this young warrior. He seemed to be using kung-fu and some ninja like moves in order to gain the upper hand. The upper hand was  scaring people for sure. Everyone was giving as wide as possible the room needed for the battle that was raging on, while going through this doorway entering the post office.

Once I entered the post office I immediately saw the over sized display of Christmas cards and envelopes. Just for the last minuet forgetful person who suddenly realizes. ” Oh crap! Ant Ellen! At least I have to send her a card.” Not saying this happened, but the thoughts was going through my mind, as I was wasting time standing in line waiting my turn.

Just what is it with the post office and their polices. When a line is out the door they always have just 2 of the 4 stations that are available to serve the public open. Or someone is standing there but not doing anything. When asked they reply. ” I’m at lunch!” At 10:00 AM?

Slowly inching my way closer and closer I come into ear shot of hearing some conversations between the person at the counter and people sending their things off. What a break from the great views of the people in front of me and their backs. Sweet noise. Voices at last other than those who are only complaining about the line. Complaining doesn’t make it move faster. It is just what it is. Hurry-up and wait!

” Merry Christmas! ” a good spirited person said to the post office man behind the counter, as they stepped up to him.

He looked up at the new customer and smiled. ” Sorry I can’t say that! But what I can say is happy new year! So happy new year!” again smiling and then adding. ” How may I help you today?”

Thinking to myself. Did I hear that correctly? What was that?

The man then said he was chasing after some stamps, and wanted to mail off this big box. Seemed unfazed by the statements of the postal worker. Was this the effects of PC? Was this man just wanting to mail and run, just no time to even ask why? He finished up his business and off he went, hoping not to have to repeat the presses so it seemed.

” Next! Can I help the next person please?” The postal worker then called out. The whole line then moved what seemed like two steeps forward, and back one just to give some room for the person in front of you. So it didn’t seem like you were invading their space too much.

” Dude! What is it with you? Don’t you realize it is Christmas? Would it hurt to say Merry Christmas?” This customer was bold I thought. Somewhat making a scene, yet justifiably so.

” Sorry. But we at the postal service have guide lines we must follow, so not to offend any one.” He smiled. Then asked in a friendly voice. ” Now how may I help you today?

” Offend!” The customer laughed. ” You have a Christmas display over there that is bigger than life, right in front of people waiting for your slow butt! And you are not to offend others? Please!” he then sorted out some letters just what he was going to mail out. ” I would like to mail these with 2 day delivery and these here with… when ever santa gets in his US postal slay, and over the house and then drops them over the side.”

Now here is someone with no use for PC people and there stupid systems. They can’t say Merry Christmas? But only saying happy new year. Yet only standing practically under the Christmas banner for all to see, or is it just to sell Christmas cards? Any one see the wisdom behind that one? If your one of those who doesn’t like the fact of, christian celebrations like Christmas? Get some thicker skin, or stay home. Yes my thoughts were working over time. But then it hit me! No one else was even saying with the lowest of voices to each other, anything about this brave soul who was taking on the unrealistic post office rules.

” Hear is your money! You may take some time to see that it says right here IN GOD WE TRUST on it.” He slapped the money down on the counter, and jabbed his index finger onto one of the bills indicating just where it was printed. ” Next time when you, or your kind try not to offend people, check to see just what opinion is in the majority and what opinion is in the majority! Merry Christmas jerk!” Then he to walked out. obviously upset, and offended. The PC postal polices failed for sure.

” Can I help the next person please?” The counter man seem unfazed by the last in counter. I don’t think he saw that he was offending people with the political correctness ordered on him by this governmental agency of stupid polices. Just how does someone become brain-dead to the point of not even seeing it! That in trying to stop the offence of some, you will always offend the rest,if not all!

As the postal man finished up with the consumer in front of him he said.” Happy holidays!” Probably thinking he was smoothing over some ruffled feathers of those still in line.

” Same to you sir. Happy holidays to you.” The customer answered, with a smile. What seem like more of a Christmas spirit in her, then with some of the last few customers. She turned and was gone as well.

Did she realize that she made a choice not to at least express her opinions of what she felt. About what she had to have over heard? Did it matter to her? If not! Why?

I told this story to some of my friends, just what I saw in my experiences at the post office. Most of them got involved with some sort of conversation about the Christmas season in a favorable way. But then there is one. Who thinks that the government has a job to do, making everything fair, and even. Who should also have a separation of church and state like attitude towards everything religious.

“Do you think the government should teach religion in school?”

“No! Are you crazy?” He responded harshly.

“Well they already do! They teach evolution. A belief of sorts, that requires faith. OH ya so does religion. What say you?”

My bud was silent, but still here, so he may still listen to me? ” You do know that religion is a belief that can not be proven with out some doubt, and so, the same things are true with evolution. Because with everything between the two religions, the question remains unanswered. What started it……..? Can you prove it?” I said. But may friend just remained silent, but thinking about what I just said.

“Well would you be surprised if I said we have separation of church and state already?” He shook his head. Bracing himself for what was coming. “Well we do. The separation is not in new PC rules of the day. But in the fact that government doesn’t have an official church. You don’t see anything wrong with a government agency promoting Christmas cards, Yet not being able to have friendly greetings to go with the season to say Merry Christmas? Using Christmas for profit is grand? But has nothing to do with christian believes, and saying it promotes the believe of christians?”

“Well we can say Happy Holiday!” He exclaimed hurriedly.

“Now that’s what is wrong with political correctness ( Being PC.). It makes people with not enough common sence to rub together to show just how stupid PC has and is becoming. The root words and organ of this phrase comes from the old phrase that people with more common sence, used to say THESE ARE THE HOLY OF DAYS. Making a reference to their religious seasons celebrations. This later became HAPPY HOLIDAYS.”

When we have a government only concerned with separation of church and state as not having nothing to do with any religions celebrations. Yet reserves the right to profit from it! They show just how evil they have become. Why do we have to make these separations when we are a christian nation by the over all believes of the population. 97% believe in some sort of GOD. This could then go to say they have believes of such, so they may also go to church. A government should simply reflect its population. If the people choose to say happy holidays, or Merry Christmas, then what is wrong with those who are employed by the government, to be able to choose for them self’s as to which they would respond? As long as it is kind and respectful to all.

Trying to save someone’s offence from Christmas, or the religious aspect of it all. By making polices that along with political correctness should save everyone unequally so, feeling un-comfortable within their own mind-set that is. Some sort of common sence should then come to the surface. Realizing you saved one persons offence, by offending the other persons in your employment. Because they may have these kinds of religious believes. In the end Political correctness ( Being PC ) only completely offends the freedom of thought, equally for everyone!

We have freedom to think, and think as we wish. We have laws to control actions, not thoughts. We have free speech, to speak out as well. There is no need to protect the offended! For they have the freedom to move on and not listen to it. Free speech was and is designed to protect offensive speech. For non-offensive speech needs no protection!

Replay monday-night football !

On a previous post titled “Monday night football!” I needed some revisiting of this subject matter. Because of the responses I got from some friends of mine. So we are going to have sort of replay moment of monday-night football. On my last post I didn’t make it to clear for all whom may have read it. Sorry! I didn’t wish to promote the wrong ideas. Too replay, ESPN pulled Hank Williams song for monday-night football because he made some statement that ESPN disagreed with. So they claimed, or their defenders claimed, they made a business decision for pulling it.( for more on this in details read previous post of mine titled “Monday night football.”)

Dont get too much ahead of me on that. I agree with the right for ESPN to be able to pull the song if they wish. I also disagree with the reasons they may or may not have expressed to the general public, as to why they pulled it! It is still a free country last I checked.

ESPN just has implied by their actions, that they made a business decision. But what Williams said was of a political nature. Not a sports commentary! Should they even have reacted too it? These were his own opinions I must say. ( In an interview not conducted by ESPN I must add.) We all should be able to agree, to disagree in our points, or our views in every subject in life. I say “celebrate the differences of the points of views, and free speech at the same time.” The general public is educated to some point to be able make their own decisions in everything that they see, or hear in the media. They have the ultimate power to turn it off, change the channel and so on. If big media makes the decision to pull a song or an interview, or what ever it is, that a public person says or does, because they disagree with them. They are then voicing their own views on the subject matter to the public as a whole. Just by their own actions or lack of actions that they may choose to take. A free country should alow for this kind of actions by free companies of the media. But at the same time those who conduct interviews should control their own question in that interviewing proses, sticking to the subjects discus, so to stay in line with their own audiences that they have. Example sports media should then keep it on sports, news on news, religious on religious, political on the politics, and so on. The very moment that in this case (ESPN’s pulling of Mr Williams song because of political statement), they then have crossed a line in a round about way airing out their own political views to the general audience. Not a sports points of view. ESPN should have made a bigger effort to remain neutral, un-jaded, unbiased. But they didn’t!

Should ESPN or other media complexes be involved in determining society’s value system, or political views to be in consistent to theirs?

But all of you are saying ( the people who talked to me on this as being the all!) that they have the right to their views and air them out to the people. I say, right they do! But if they are going to let their own political views out then they should also alow others to express their points of views as well? That’s an open and free non biased media. If they disagree with statements made? Then why not put out a statement like this…. ” Mr Williams view are his own expressed opinions, not necessarily the ones of this station, or its advertisers, or its hosts.” But ESPN did neither to date, that I’m aware of? Perhaps they did, but most of the people who I had a discussions with just kept on saying that “ESPN made a good business decisions!”

Is this what it is all about then? Money? Trying then to control people with the ability to make money, or not, depending on, or weather or not they act out on your behalf? I do get that the parent company of ESPN has a lot to gain in revenues on political ads this election year. So I can see, that they may look at what was said by Mr. Williams as damaging to their ad campaign or their abilities to sell air time for the highest profit. If this is so, then they should be asking of themself’s ” Are we then bought and paid for by one of the two political views out there?” In which case only looking at this from this point of view, would make it a business decision for them. But why not have some political back bone for some values, or positive principles? By issuing a disclaimer or a rebuttal. This should have given ESPN the reassurance to get a good profit for their air time ads. By looking unbiased. This would show that they don’t have a one-sided opinions. At the same time putting some distance between their opinions and those of Mr. Williams.

Maybe it is just me, looking to the sinister side of people, as why I see it as thus? ESPN just was looking for more of an inline view of their opinions, from Mr. Williams, with regards to his political views. Taking their opportunity to be able to conduct their own business decisions, at the same time expressing their views through their actions and decisions. Mr. Williams views even tho given to some other news outlet happened to be the controversy. This kind of controversy was not to their liking, nor did they wish to explain away their own views in the proses. But considering they are a sports media outlet, not a political one. I think it was the parent company that put the pressure on them to act as they did. But who knows for sure? Maybe it was the NFL league it self? In any case ESPN should show some back bone, and have expressed these points to whom it may have concerned, rather than running from it and Mr. Williams. To then claim that some how, Mr. Williams statements were or can be damaging to their business, is to be thin-skinned, and misguided when you consider other people’s actions, behaviours, and statements of the past, by public people, or entertainers that ESPN has used before.

If they wish to make this kind statement, in the light of their own actions, and behaviors, then they should have some consistency with their actions and behaviors? Not being able to support Mr. Williams song because of what he thinks of the political land scape as he see it, is just plain wrong! When no one is holding anyone else to these same standers. Anyone else in sports or the entertainment world should then expect to be treated the same way, and held to these same standards as Mr. Williams was. Over the years there has been lots of domestic violence behaviours by sports players. Drug and alcohol abuse, or drug dealing charges brought about to sports players, or how about the one of the most resent examples of bad behaviors and actions by public person. The animal abuse charges and conviction for dog fighting, and gambling on the out comes of these fights just to name a few cases. Yet no such standards of a so-called business dictions by ESPN, The NFL, The Media as a whole have ever been implemented! Shouldn’t we all expect that money isn’t everything in business or to a point of having such opinions? Or should business just be about prostitution, and sell it’s self, in place of values or taking some valued actions? When we have this kind of inconsistency it can be said it is truly greed that is out of control! Using people with obvious problems just to make money, rather than standing on some values is just crazy. Using sports players like this? All the while choosing to overlook their problems, is silently supporting those poor behaviours by those who are engaging in them! When these public media outlets come to a place of having consistency with their behaviours then we, the public may believe them more or have a greater respect for them and their actions. The truth is in sports, if you have great talent then you as the talent will be rich beyond your wildest dreams. But the talent pimps ( The Media ) will get there share of the action. The players or the entertainers then become to the media outlets, the commodity of sorts that will insure profits. So when these people make poor decisions and or get caught, the sports / media complex will get better deals for them, by using their influence on those cases. By public services they should perform, or reduced sentences, or a well-come back with open arms and bigger contracts of money. these sports / entertainers star that still can still be a fan base draw, and get the fans in the stadiums seats. Are the source of the media’s income or a part of their revenue stream. Should the media or the public overlook passed behaviours, once some kind of price has been paid by them? Or will these actions just be overlooked once again? All in the name of profit!!

If these business would be totally honest and have some principles of values, with their moral compasses in the right place. Then maybe they would not have been so quick to disassociate themself’s from Mr. Williams. Or maybe they would make consistent business decisions, and refuse to take interviews, or broadcast games when these sports stars of a lesser value systems are involved in them. All just for, “in the name of consistency!” If they are interviewing song writers, or performers to entertain at games, then maybe they should search high and low to see what these people have said. Just to see! As well to remain consistent with their views or concerns? At least in doing so they would then look less greedy, and more value orientated. Isn’t that what good business decisions are made of? With regards to their decisions made about Mr. Williams and his statements, I see it as ESPN only considered  it, on how it was going to affect the bottom line, and how they wanted to sell political ads from their parent company, or that the NFL placed some kind of pressures on them. You in the public who may be reading this. May still think that ESPN doesn’t sell political ads? But we must consider that the parent company does! Besides if ESPN is nonpolitical, then they should have acted and made decisions that were nonpolitical in nature! They should stand for something of values and not just act in such a way that can be seen as valueless, or greedy, and therefore out of control. A simple disclaimer on what was said would have ended it all, rather than opening up Pandora’s box of questions as to why with Mr. Williams, and not with others? This decisions by ESPN opens the door to what kind of values and actions, behaviour, statements, or political views would be supported by their sports media complex, and those whom they decide, to invite in having something to do with the business. Should they be vocal with their inactions through their actions? As some sort of reactions to what ever, or who ever says something, or acts out? Should they as well be overly vocal with actions taken in such cases? Or do their actions alone express consistency with their opinions as a whole to the public, as to what they believe in? So shouldn’t consistency have a higher value in it then? Or should we all only have the best consistency that money can buy, as the standard of the day?

As a society we should decide not just what values we should support. Instead of only selling our standards to the highest bidder.

When we as the people, public or privet, can no longer express our opinions openly and freely. Or should we come to a day, that the public air ways are only controlled by people who only wish for their opinions only to be expressed! It is on that day we all loose freedom as a whole.

ESPN please leave the judging or the ability’s of being judgemental to your audience! Please just give us all a non jaded, sports reporting of sports out there! Stop politicizing our entertainment! Most of all stop acting like your network needs to get involved with the gossip of he said or she said, and just broadcast disclaimers. We all would be happier. Thanks!

Monday night football.

Monday night football doesn’t seem the same now that the song ” Are you ready for some football?” by Hank Williams Jr. has been scraped by ESPN. I simply do not understand that when someone is asked to give their opinion on a subject that they can’t then give their views. But they are expected to give come clap trap political correct answer to it all. The unfairness of it all is that  people of the media, can get away with what ever they want to, with the regards to giving their own opinions, when they clam to be unbiased in any way. They use their power to wielded over people like a bully in grade school going after your lunch money, by giving the impression they can make you or break you.

Hank Williams Jr. got himself in trouble when he made an analogy that was a bit racy, or over the top, salacious, and even seen by some as extreme! But it was the best way to make the point, that two groups were on opposite sides of most issues that they would have or at present would be supporting, or as unlikely ever in coming together to the same opinions.

He said. ” That president Obama and speaker of the house rep. Boehner, golfing together.

Was like the Nazi leader Hitler and Israel’s prime minister Netanyahu playing

a round of golf.”

Because Boehner is more of a balanced budget guy, and Obama is more of a tax and spend guy! They are just opposites of each other. They are just as far apart as the sun and the moon. They are not going to get any closer any time soon.

Okay! If that is his opinion then what is the brouhaha all about? He is entitled to an opinion, or is he only entitled to have an outlet to his opinions as long as it has been pre approved by the network? After all they asked the question that Hank Williams Jr. thought he might make perfectly clear as what was ment by it! Were they all at ESPN pissed-off because he was so clear? No way to spin the story but a negative one towards Hank. Did they forget about free speech? Did they over look that free speech was designed, and for protecting offensive speech? Because non offensive speech needs no protection! I guess that ESPN didn’t get the memo about free speech, or the flip side, did they get a memo that they are now expected to becoming the enforcer’s by stifling free speech.

No matter what way, if you do not like other people’s opinions then don’t ask for them. Try the delightful art of interviewing someone with only asking ” Yes / No” questions. But then stick to the examples of leaving your opinions at home as well. Leaders need to lead by example, rather than by decree.

If the government has some how gotten involved in what the media can air or not. Then it is your job to fight for your free speech, as well everyone else’s free speech rights. Remembering when Hitler’s quest for supreme power came into being, by the slow erosion of everyone’s rights.

First they came for the other guy and his rights, and you did nothing!

Then they came to your neighbor’s house to take his rights, and you did nothing!

When they came for you, there was no one left to help protect your rights!

What Hank Williams Jr. said was nothing short of the same thing that other people haven’t already said. Boehner has been refered to as ” Holding the country hostage, a kidnapper of the economy of sorts.” The tea-party was called ” un-American, obstructionists, terrorists…” Just because they disagreed with the political left. apparently to be un-American is to disagree with the other sides opinions? If you all would just look towards history you may see that our founders disagreed with each other often. But they used the little known art of personation, so as to convince the opinion makers of the day. To be able to perswade someone, you must have healthy debate, in order to present your views.

Just to be an idea terrorists of the day, like those of ESPN or other media outlets, Weather by their own opinions or by the opinions of someone else, directing them more towards a political correct one. Is just wrong! Hank Williams Jr. opinion today, and maybe ESPN’s opinion tomorrow? Sorry I have to call it as I see it! If your asking for an opinion then buckle up for the ride and except  what kind of answer you get! Political correctness and the people who have this kind of attitudes are fast becoming the new thought police. With the government as the writers of the new dictionary of political correct terms, all to judge everyone’s thoughts by!

Advice to ESPN! When you or some other network interviews someone with an opinion question, then except the hard-hitting answer that you may not personally like as nothing more than a sack! Take the loss of yards, and get back in the game with the next play! If you must hate? Then hate the game not the player!! Other wise how can you ever be ready for some football? If you’re only playing defence, then expect to lose! In making a point of two opposing sides that are totally opposed from each other than expect more analogy’s of two opposing sides as examples, just like the political people (Hitler and Netanyahu) or (the devil and God!)

Ps. I must say that ESPN didn’t do the orignal interview that is the main point of this piece. But the reaction of ESPN on a political point of view when they are a sports network as the real issue. Sorry for the confusion if any.

Poverty… disadvantaged or a disability?

           It was said to me one day that “poverty is a disability“. But really.. do you believe this to be true? If so how can this be? After all, isn’t a disability brought about, if it must,  not by having to choose it for your self?Like being involved in an accident that leaves one disfigure, or is it much like being born with blindness, one leg shorter than the other, no hands, or paralyzed, or a mental conditions, and so on. Besides having some kinds of a medical conditions these could have been brought on by accidents or by birth, they are beyond someones own choices in life. Yet just because someone may have been born to parents that are also poor, doesn’t really give anyone in that position the right to claim a disability. Prehaps one could claim that being brought up in that kind of environment is a disadvantage, but little else could be claimed. So then, poverty… disadvantaged or a disability?

          Yet politics of the day seem to like to place the notation in people’s heads that being poor is a disability. It is all in the attempt to change popular ideas and perceptions of the way poor people are looked at by others, even to the point of trying to protect the poor from their own views, or opinions that they may have of themselves. It is much easer to accept having a disability rather than having to accept having some choices in the matter. We all get to choose if we remain in the places that we first start out in! Making it easer to alow someone to give themselves the excuse for taking on the victims role, as well as driving the point home that it is beyond ones own control in life. There for taking public assistance to help out just because! Leads to the first step in addiction, much like crack cocaine it seems fun at first, but then it leads people down the road of diminished self-esteem. Once people lose their confidence, as well their self-esteem, it becomes difficult at best, to break the chains of this kind of material and mental addiction of the victims role, by way of public assistance. It is not wrong for public policies to help those that need it! But what is wrong, is calling it helping others like the least among us, by means of supplying a comfortable existence without a reasonable effort as well. To supply every need to the point of compleat comfort without expecting anyone to make a reasonable effort in the proses, will rob the soul and self-worth of those that need encouragement the most!

          Why has government not played a bigger role in the lives of the people they govern? What is wrong with encouraging people to take some responsibility’s for their own existence? The more that government complicates policies and manipulates these people’s lives for their own reassurance of reelections, then nothing will be accomplished to helping those that are the least among us. There is only mistrust , anger, manipulations, and prolonged poverty. The USA as one of the wealthiest nations on earth should have the policies to guide people to make better choices in life, rather than guiding them to take advantage of others as a way of getting further in life. This land of opportunity should not have, or encourage the attitudes of victim hood, but should remind as often as possible that we have equal opportunity not a guarantee of equal out comes! The government that doesn’t teach or remind it’s populist on what made this country great, but only alow’s for the kind of attitudes that doesn’t support individual independence, will only be sowing the seeds of completely dependent future cry babies,  having the attitude of just looking for free handouts. In return they will be more than willing to do the job of voting politicians into office that will give them everything, even to the point of this nations bankruptcy. at which point there will be nothing left to govern, or tax! If this is the future of this nation, then we all are all heading in the direction of becoming disadvantaged, as well as having to make an effort in becoming comfortable with poverty, with no moneys even to help those that may also have a disability! So then, are we a nation of charity, are we willing to help those who really need it? Will we be a nation that helps people to a point of forgetting their own choices at the expense of responsable living, that which will only lead to our own bankruptcy as a nation, these actions of poor choice as a nation will guarantee having to leave those who really need help on the outside looking in! Government can not fix everything in our lives, no real use in asking our politicians in trying to do so! Poverty… disabled, or disadvantaged?

Socialism creates cry babies!

  Socialism as insurance through social programs (I call misguided charities) as well the insurance industries have led the American people down the road of becoming cry babies. Yes it is true! People are more likely to look to government for help then looking towards their own independence of making choices for an uncertain world we live in. Government can no more insure ageist life’s uncertainty’s as it can stop volcanoes from eruption with a cork.

We as a nation have failed to look forward, but rather have willfully given the job to our politicians to doing this for us. Our politicians have used our tax moneys to buy votes. Thus enslaving us by our own choice to the corrupted cycle of tax and spend policies of an out of control government.

The only offer by government to the populace, is wielding it power over them, by compelling the populace in paying taxes. In order to maintain power government will give money to some in order to gain their votes, at the expense of others. This will and has damaged the fabric of the social order of this nation. Government is truly misguided by taxing the success by those who see the opportunities to be successful by their own efforts, and rewarding those that are satisfied with an average existence, by making the minimum effort in life. Resulting in government involvement in charity, or should I say (misguided) charity!

Freedom requires people to control their own futures with the power of ones own choice. The only requirement is that people will also deal with the responsibilities, brought on by their choices. Moral values also guide those who have them, to give back to their communities through charities, thus the blessings will be given to those that engage themselves in giving to charities. The freedom of making a choice by choosing to give, or not, or in what kind of amounts, is true freedom in an uncertain world where life is simply not guaranteed.
