“Voicing your opinion isn’t enough”, said Sergio Uzurin a protester in front of Macy’s flagship store in New York. “You have to disrupt business as usual for this to happen and that’s the only thing that ever made change. That’s the real way democracy’s function.”
Unfortunately Sergio doesn’t, or is unwilling to understand that in order for democracy’s to function while preserving individual freedom requires the “Rule of Law”, not a mob redefinition of the law.
Apparently it’s no longer PC to call a criminal a criminal & a preplanned riot a travesty!

Let me also say this, if we can ban smoking in public places, then we can also ban parking lots outside of bars, and the removal of all alcohol sales opportunities at public events. Both of which only promotes drinking and driving. If we are interested in public safety why be half assed about it. Right?
In theory if it protects the public then government has the uncomfortable job of serving and protecting regardless of political party policy.
A theoretician is someone who bathes in theory’s of the what if’s—Instead of the what is….or the true facts of what is. Take the Ebola out break in Africa. The theoretician says we can not close off all travel to and from the affected countries, because health-care workers couldn’t then get into these places, and the epidemic would certainly spread. This is an exercise of theory, the what if’s, paralyzing any can do wisdom or any attempts into taking action while using common sense.
The truth….we can close off travel to and from, as well as doing the job of protecting people and countries that don’t have Ebola as of yet, while continuing to limit it greatly. And we can just as easily provide special air rescue travel of specialized specialists to aide the affected people in those same countries.
It seems we have no problems in quarantining our first case of Ebola in America for the sake of public safety. But the irony is…to the unrealistic theoretician, placing a quarantine on travel is a recipe for some perceived disaster, or a manifestation of racism, or even building a larger wall of unfairness in the world. So we shouldn’t do it, nor is there any good reason to….right?
We shouldn’t act as though we can do nothing in the face of our fears except raise the invitation flag to our yet unrealized fears in becoming those same new realties within our lives.
It seems we as a nation have excepted and popularized the idea to ban smoking in public places, and within enclosed places as a public safety issue, because it kills. What? And with our elected theoreticians policies on Ebola we don’t really see the irony? We can for all intent and purposes “quarantine” people from publicly smoking because it does the same thing Ebola would, though be it at a slower rate of time it takes for death to accrue. And with the Ebola out break, our elected officials act as if it’s cruel and unusual punishment to quarantine travel to and from…Yep! It all makes sense to me.
What says you?
All the best to everyone.
Ripped from today’s headlines about the Monday night football game, SeaHawks vs. Redskins.
The battle lines are drawn, the game plans are in place, and the winner is yet to be crowned.
Did I mention that both sides of any issue are equally offended by the other? So hear my question, “is it posable to out law hate without recreating new hatred?”
It is my opinion that this is what political correctness is exactly doing in our society today. And all by itself is shamefully and disgustingly limiting everyone’s ability to live within some perceived life of equal free speech freedom.
The name “Redskins, or Washington Redskins” is fast becoming a manufactured outrage du jour of the day. It is political correctness run a muck. It is the total discard of FreeSpeech. Because free speech is the protection of offensive speech, because non offensive speech needs no protection. Political correctness goes beyond the speech and enters the arena of personal intent and thoughts behind the speech used, and judged by popular political motivations. Thus it is the slippery slope of controlled thinking, acceptable group thinking, an engineered thought proses or a type of re created mindset for the purpose of group control.
In an interview with a sports commentator this question was asked,
“Would you be moved to stop using it (the uses of the team name “Redskins”) if the company that we work for or if the FCC were to fine you or fire you for using that name, would that move you?”
This was the answer given,
“Those would be very powerful motivating forces for me,” he acknowledged, adding that he thinks the FCC stepping into this debate is out of line, a type of government over reach.
Nobody even attempted to confront this type of question as being out of line. The media which stands on their soapbox preaching the right to free speech seemingly forgot the issue in its hurry to tilt the scales of popular opinion. This type of questioning is out of line because of our rights in this country’s founding to give everyone equal ability to openly speak, to have free speech.
Think about it for a moment apart from the popular words of news hype. If you as an individual fear finical impact, or fear the power of your employer to pressure you into a thought proses of having to act as they demand, where is your freedom? What if your employer demands you to vote politically a certain way….have certain religious affiliations…..beliefs, or demanding individuals change their beliefs….,or except their union view? Isn’t freedom cast a side then?
And we haven’t even entertained any what “If’s” should government place demands into that picture.
Listen to the interview, some of these points aren’t even brought up or even presented for open air debate. The political correct mind creep has already excepted a power greater then free speech without even seeing–today we will try to control any opposition, tomorrow we will control those who we today call friend.
Without free speech you don’t really have freedoms, because everything someone can say or do, can also offend any other person.
Its time we think of political correctness / the effort to control speech to a curtain groups way of thinking, as being to much like this….Evil preaches tolerance till it’s dominant, then it seeks to stamp out good.
In deciding good or evil in anyone, it is necessary to except that we all may be offended or could be the offender. It is in the content of character within individuals that drive their actions or gives individuals the power to just walk away. Because a person changed against their will is of the same opinion still.
All the best. Enjoy your freedom to speak up or out on this subject.
PS. Enjoy tonight’s game…..Go! Hawks!

Dori Monson won’t shy from saying ‘Redskins’ during MNF broadcast http://t.co/ns7G3OazMW
Is the hoopla over recent NFL abuse cases / domestic violence over done, over reported, or even magnified to the extent of abusive reporting by big media?
Let me just state it right here and now. Abuse of any kind is wrong! No if’s, or and’s, or but’s, are expectable excuses, it just plain wrong!
Having that said now, why is the NFL embroiled in an demotic violence witch hunt? With 4 such cases or arrests now made, why are the other NFL stories of related drug cases, or other violent acts by other NFL players or former players so under reported?
I have grown real tired of the politicization of certain cases for nothing more then making political points by using such stories as exclamation points. Because such reporting has nothing to do with ending such behaviors in society by making them into a bigger public awareness campaign. If that was truly the design of such reporting we would have little room to avoid stories of much bigger effects towards individual’s personally, and all the ill effects to the public in general that those stories would explain. Yet these stories are barely reported on some back page of some no name newspaper somewhere. It gives an impression of hiding something for later use in a sort of manipulation story, not all that different than the present demotic violence stories currently. Where is the news magnification, the public outcry, and the social demand for government to change it all? Instead we have this on going witch hunt of a real problem in the NFL while avoiding the bigger picture within society just under the surface.
Are kids worth protecting at all? And at any and all costs?
This year, 2014 right up to my posting of this story, there have been, or are on going cases in or out of court, of over 300 teachers who have abused kids in their schools just this year, while under their care. And we are magnifying 4 domestic violence cases in the NFL for that same time period of time. Domestic violence in the NFL isn’t suddenly something new. It’s been going on for years. But with today’s reporting, it is being made to sound out of control and ramped. On a percentage bases is it all that different to the population at large? I’m not making a case or any justification of domestic violence here, just an unusual reporting of it.
One such segment of the population with a higher percentage of accounts of domestic violence as reported, is the very same segment that also has the job of investigating all other reports of domestic violence–police officers. Where is the same degrees of reporting those stories if we must shine a lime light onto this dark corner of society if we hope to change it? How does reporting on the NFL change the real segment of population with the same but more prevalent problem?
Going back to our public teachers, aren’t teachers government employees? Don’t we deserve better and more efficient government? Aren’t our kids our future? Then why aren’t these stories in the news daily if necessary to get that better government, who would better manage their employees if it were brought into the light? Yet it’s our media, that evil in our lives who plays politics with the NFL, expecting public outrage to get government moving in regulating everything except the media and itself.
Sometime opening your eyes can be the most painful thing you can do.
We don’t need some super strength to accept those things we can’t change. But we a kind of unwavering strength to change the things we can’t accept! A unified strength of standing up to those who hold their deceptive powers as public do-good’ers.
We shouldn’t dispense the law within the court of public opinion in an unequal disposition towards what’s popular on any given day. It seems society is unwilling to stand up to evil no matter where it exerts, but rather it is only interested in finding an acceptable level of evil that they can tolerate. While using the least amount of efforts posable. And everything else is considered collateral damage.
So what damages society to a larger degree some abuse in the NFL, or the almost unheard of child abuse in school–4 cases in the NFL vs. 300 unheard of cases in our public schools in 2014. And with a track record of the police, according to FBI statistics, are we to call a potential secret abuser to investigate a report of domestic violence?
I suggest we stop sweeping dirt under the rug while complaining about some visible missed prices that sticks out like a sore thumb within the NFL.
What says you?
All the best.
Walking just off the beaten path
It seems the only memories that adults have of childhood fun is too often caped by their negative experiences. Just imagine back when you were a kid and when you first stepped into dog crap! What exactly where you doing, or what thoughts were going through your mind right up to that point when you took that step? You probably don’t remember? Or you don’t know or have forgotten the whys or even the where’s to those times. Were they were happy fun times that then suddenly changed? Being so much younger than, then now, did you change your views of having fun in grassy fields, despite the uncomfortable memory and feeling of yucky on your shoes?
Why is it as adults we constantly look for the hidden crap in life? Can’t we just except there are risks in life? Shouldn’t we be more in tune with our attitudes towards these uncomfortable risks? Because our attitudes are the only obstacles in getting to that land where the impossible is possible finely arriving at happiness? We should all be more accepting at times in working hard in achieving our goals, remembering you have to get your hands a little dirty once in a while because every kind of success both big and small like grassy fields have hidden crap along the way!
I had this opportunity to go to a public event where there was plenty of diversity. Young and old from the ages of brand new to 100 years, represented by every type of ethnicity the world had to offer. There was singing, dancing, games, food & drink, and all kinds of other fun in the sun. For the kids plenty of toys—things to climb, swings, and small hand toys (balls etc.) to play a verity of games with. It was a good time for people watching, as well as friendly competitions like the pie eating, or watermelon eating contests. This day had all of the essential ingredients needed for the well-designed machinery of an all-around good afternoon lubricated into a well running social event sustained with the suns warmth, suntan lotion, and cold drinks.
Watching some young kids I noticed out of the corner of my eye. A girl talking to another girl, not so surprising to see all by its self, but these two were different kinds of different, not to say ethnicities as well. Again no real shock here for me but for the intolerant type, I’m sure they were thinking “what gives”?
I notice the kids were playing around with all the different toys, following each other, encouraging each other even challenging each other to some games that they made-up on the fly. Other kids soon joined in to the fun, turning into a real cornucopia of ethnicities while interacting peacefully sharing in that thing we all could use in our life once in a while called… fun!
I was beginning to think of this day, or this place as just a dream that I was having. It seemed too much like that impossible dream Marten Luther had in his speech “I have a dream”, where he hoped that people would judge people not on the color of one’s skin but by the content of character. But then it seemed I was just dreaming?
Somehow adult humans seem to forget their inner child and the ability to dream the impossible while making the impossible possible happen. Is that really too much to ask?
All though I was somehow reminded of all of the rhetoric in the news that was being bantered around of late, the Travon Marten trial events with all of the racist comments seen on the internet (Facebook and twitter and alike), not to say or add into the mix the social hucksters of hate–you know the types I’m talking about? Those ex-minister’s or self-proclaimed ones, those community leaders who seem to have an endless supply of money for themselves while claiming to be the voice of the poor, as they empty the poor’s pockets, in exchange they filling their minds with social contempt. Yes those people, the ones who make the news in an effort to divide a nation by claiming not to judge by color of skin, but by protecting and promoting one skin color problems over the others. Casing guilt, and blame towards, and within the content of characters possessed within the oppositions skin color for public popularity and personal gain. Somehow all of this rhetoric reminds me of children complaining about dog crap on their shoes. We know better, by making constant complaints just a person’s personal game being played out so they will not have to get their hands dirty in making an effort on their own.
Last I checked Racism (the hatred of a different ethnicity simply by the virtue of hating that person because they were born into it) never seems to be accepted as the same car driven home into the minds of others in reverse by the race baiters.
At what point in life does the birth of racism breathe its first breath of hatred?
Wisdom is supposed to be a collection of experiences, values or views, timeless principles–whether they are moral or religious tenets, in the pursuit of any and all discoveries of the truth. For truth needs no consensus or public popularity to prove it exists, it simply stands on its own as fact!
So where does racism come from? How is it so appealing to people who would individuality accepts the persona, the disposition, the nature, and the temperament of racism as a value? The forgetfulness of humans who would practice racism, must have first have forgotten the golden rule–Treat people in the same way that you would have them treat you in return. Or the last 6 of the 10 commandments for those who claim to be religious but would build a façade out of religious belief–thinking they are being religious and yet accepting the smallest degree of agreement to those who would express their own brand of racism while claiming some religious superiority? Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, you guys shouldn’t be throwing any stones–if you know what I mean?
Yet Sharpton Still Gets Pass: rape hoaxer Tawana Brawley begins paying defamation damages 25 years later… http://nyp.st/13Emx4E via @nypost
How could anyone think a collection of adults in society or in government could eliminate the racist view or even the curriculum within the secret school of racism that seem to exist? No amount of government regulations or even a branded mindset of “social justice”, or “collective salvation” will ever remove the self-chosen thoughts of division. Critical thinking could if used properly. It could eliminate the closed mindedness of racism, or people choosing to see everyone else in terms of ethnicity. Racist thoughts are only based on assumptions without testing them for verified results of truth. Remember truth can stand on its own, and doesn’t need any support to do so. It is deceptive humans that have conceive the ideas in an effort to manipulate, to change truth as they rationalize to themselves and others there is no need for any applications of self-examination to their attitudes or definitions of truth. Racism exercises tenants of mental gymnastics, bending and twisting, massaging at will in order to cast blame while doing the exact same things to others. Even claiming to be offended doesn’t create an exemption to offend.
The secret school of racism does exist because from my views of reality on this day it seems people can celebrate of all types of ethnicities coming together under the sun. Even those people kids with preconceived hidden thoughts deep within their minds, that I’m sure have at least for one moment in time allowed themselves a rest from the taxing energies of hate. Not allowing these feelings to boil to the surface and being expressed outwardly does show proof positive it can be controlled by choice.
So in full view for everyone to see or to take notice of these kids aged from 3 to 7-year-olds playing without a care in the world, with no animists towards racism, no one was seeking any dividing forces of color, or even noticing ethnicity. They see the endless possibilities of collaboration to achieve fun expressed in discovery of just what it means to “judge not, unless you are judged.” they value other little people by their content of characters and in sharing in the fun. So it easy to see every negative is taught and learned from adult examples or the lack thereof….??
Somehow in a world where adults rule the day, claiming great wisdom and the only ones to have the ability to teach children, it seem some of the great wisdom is purposefully over looked allowing their own biases and temptations though secretly held within; they are teaching biases, prejudices or at the very least they have failed to teach the importance to fight against those negative thoughts within the mind once they are thought of. Instead they choose to rely on the government to pass regulations, laws, or create greater amounts of manipulative peer pressure through political correctness; as if partialities are a forgone conclusion as being able to eliminated racism in the minds of people who have actively chosen to practice it. There is no time travel, there is no such thing as correcting the wrongs of the past by engaging in the same actions but in reverse in the present. It is impossible to eliminate ones offence by also offending another. It is just as impossible to please everyone at the same time, all of the time.
At some point all people, if not then the people in government must certainly realize that “people changed against their will are of the same opinion still”.
The power of racism is therefore in each one of us and we could end it once and for all if only we would choose to do so? The proof of that is right here… as I watch these playing kids. We could all embrace the lost knowledge of our childhood wisdom instead of casting it aside as being unwise, inexperienced, and childish. Because the way I’m seeing it these kid who are strangers are interacting with each other peacefully and having fun. This isn’t because of some lack of experience or any problem for them, its adults refusing to be adults.
Ending the hidden and secret schools of racism is only possible if individual adults stop going down that well beaten pathway and stop applying for those teaching positions that seem to be always available! Collectively we can’t change today instantaneously, but certainly we can impact tomorrow’s results with today’s actions.
Crazy law makers are proposing more craziness. Take for instance Diane Feinstein (D) from California, who has in her past legislative efforts made an attempt to normalize crazy with outrageous, insane, crazy redefined rhetoric. Gun control isn’t enough to insure public safety for her. Now we must control magazine capacity of pressure cooker from the 1.5 gallon size to ½ half gallon sizes. It is all about the crock pots complaint of the pressure cooker being favored by terrorists everywhere. Call it a redistribution of fairness standards, among crooks and cook ware everywhere.
In addition to some new capacity sizes, she is proposing purchase restrictions. All new purchases to be made through federally licensed broker dealers. She is also calling for re examining QVC and HSN licensing to see if they can remain the cook ware dealers of choice by cooks and novices everywhere with regards to their pressure cooker sales. She expressed, “Perhaps even a new license and regulatory category for pressurized cooking devices is needed.”
Among other regulations she is supporting, background checks of everyone who wants a pressure cooker, and before they could take position of it they must prove they have under gone extensive training on “How to Properly Use Your Pressure Cooker”.
Gifting a pressure cooker or acquiring one through an inheritance will require a broker dealer’s license to transfer ownership only to those who have the appropriate training and handler’s permits or licenses, and have under gone an extensive back ground check or have attained a collectors licenses for antique cookers. Selling pressure cookers at garage sales or swap meets is prohibited.
Under certain circumstances some states will also require a CCPCP (Conceal Carry Pressure Cooker Permit) for those traveling with their pressure cookers to social events. Approved stickers must be placed on the auto / truck that haul such cookers, they must also have proper warning sticker displayed– content under extreme pressure, may be explosive if the pressure exceeds manufactures preconditions, or is packed with unapproved iron fortified substances. Leaving a vehicle unattended with a cooker in it, could result in a forfeiture of said vehicle or fine and loss of license or all of the above.
Storing a pressure cooker in the home where a child may also live or have access to it. Will require a handle lock and an approved storage locker where the cooker is placed, locked-up in between uses. With any noncompliance in safety handling and storage of such cookers may result in actions taken against violators— such as reckless child endangerment charges.
The crock pot supporters, have thrown their support behind Diane Feinstein’s regulations, but couldn’t be reached for comment, they didn’t respond to our e-mail, or phone calls.
The pressure cooker coalition did respond to our requests and said. “We feel the crazy pressure, and will appeal any and all laws and regulations regarding pressure cookers, on the grounds of discrimination of cooking devices or food preparation containers. So far there isn’t anything to get steamed about, but the encroachment of regulations will cause a loss of efficiency, and worker productivity, hampering good eats everywhere. So such laws are just over kill to the food industry, and food lovers alike.”
When the coalition was asked about the cookers being used as bombs, or if they can explode with excessive pressure builds. They responded saying. “So can bottles of champagne.. can also explode as well, that is if not attended properly? The bottle can also be filed with gas, and a fuse can be added, in creation, or manufacture of a fire bomb? Yet we aren’t looking to out-law bottles, or are demanding people to drink boxed wine. We do condone misuse or abuse of our product or any other for any reason. But evil does exist? We don’t believe the legal use of our product needs to be restricted because there are a few people ready and able to misuse them at will. Restrictions only restrict the lawful, as for the lawless– they don’t care what rules, laws, or restrictions are in play! They aren’t following them to start with!”
So you see, these volatile issues will cause some pressures to build as citizens attempt to control the size of government, and as law-makers attempt to control evil passions within its citizenry, while supposing to control their own evil intent, motives, and passions to grab power, or accumulated it to a point of absolute power over all.
Feel free to weigh in on the subject matter with your opinions.
Ps. this posting does not imply support of cooking (legal or illegally) with pressure cookers. We don’t support any modifications of such cookers, or iron fortified anything! Food or otherwise! We do not also support more craziness from our government. But do support a smaller leaner, balanced, government. We do not believe that Diane Feinstein (D) from California is crazy or insane…. But a socialist, who has made her career in doing the same failed policies from the past over and over, expecting new results and success. So by that definition she is. We do not trust any governmental laws or regulations that originated from any politicians who in part have invested in the ACME co. of good political ideas. The ACME co. never came up with any good ideas for the coyote in the road runner movies, so why try them now? We stand firmly against cartoon politics or politicians! No crazy politicians were hurt in the efforts of writing this post. But we do acknowledge, the post may keep some pressure on crazy despite its best effort in avoiding it.
All the best.
What exactly make for a boorish neighbor? Where is the solution? Alas, couldn’t a complaint just be an expression of dissatisfaction over some issue that could just as easily then be resolved as two adults? It seems we in modern society are just living a bit too closely to each other these days. Your life style, or mine, seems to be just rubbing people wrongly when the intention was never that. Or because we live too closely to each other we become aware of a neighbor who are a bit hypersensitive to often, or they’re real reason to live, is to become an Olympic champion complainer, complaining over little to nothing to you? Everyone has the right to live and let live, until that neighbor, who is happily willing to make an attempt to trample our rights, in the rigged exercise of their own.
Because our new modern homes are on postage stamp size lots that are close enough to lean out of our windows and be able to shake hands with each other. (Not a recommendation or an endorsement to make such an attempt) It can make for some neighborly challenges to say the least. Throwing into the mix of things an Olympic hypersensitive person, whose specialty is complaining, you may have just moved into uncharted territory?
When it comes to noise, what is a frivolous complaint, and what is legitimate? Isn’t loud noise loud noise—should it be blaring music, baying hounds, screaming kids, or screaming parents who scream loudly at their kids, those teen-aged drivers who rev their hot rods, or those old men with midlife crisis’s that now drive Harley Davison motorcycles, net alone rev them up late at night, or just an oversized flag snapping, crackling, those noises that one would make when the wind is whipping around? None of these are a laughing matters when one needs sleep!
At some point a reasonable grievance, expressed a bit too often, will bread resentments, creating a point where people may start building those social walls to protect themselves from the childish actions and reactions, to those noisy nuisances over just peacefully resolving them. One who causes extreme noise nuisance, the other who is perceived as a complaining noisy nuisance? All of these are nothing but intrusions on what the other person sees as being normal. When we are so close to the problem, it is hard to understand the problem, without also having an open mind to see it from the others point of view. So when is it a reasonable, making attempt to live within our own rights without seeing them trampled by those who are religiously rigged in exercising of their own at our expense?
A recent story had this person complaining, and wondering what to do?
“Our neighbor’s unusually large, illuminated American flag that makes so much noise on windy nights that we have to retreat to another bedroom to sleep? He refuses to take it down on even the most blustery nights, and it flaps loudly right outside our second-floor bedroom window. He has let us know that this is politically sensitive to him and I’m sure he would have no qualms about going to the local press if we were to formally complain. There’s apparently no town ordinance regarding this. What can we do?”
Your thinking, a loud, noisy, flapping, snapping whipping flag on breezy nights keeping tired, exhausted, physically spent people from their sleep, and a neighbor who is just got an attitude in resolving the issue? Really? It is true–but how would you all handle it? What is reasonable? What is the adult way of resolving it, or is there a resolution, or is the complaint just hypersensitive?
I heard a story once; where a kid kept kicking a football into a neighbor’s yard, then when screaming after it early mornings, most, if not every weekend mornings, just to repeat it all over again until parents got up to make breakfast. An annoying alarm clock to say the least. Over the course of a summer this was complained about, one neighbor to the other. These complaints were respectfully given, and ample time in resolving the nuisance was also given. The problem was those social walls as defensive actions were built one brick after the other, separating common sense from common decency. These neighbors hardly spoke with each other afterwards. The social walls, and how dar you talk about my kid that way, separated people for the most part in being able to get along with each other. I would hate to think if the roles would have been reversed, what the reactions would have been?
Slow to anger, these people didn’t wish to go to war with their neighbor, and true to form when the summer was over, it stopped! Until the next summer. A year older, and so much stronger, the boy kicked the ball onto the porch and added a loud thud to the screaming, that was also repeated several times each morning. Where was the neighborly respect for other people’s property? What would happen if the window would be broken by the ball? What to do, when each side sees the other as crazy?
Well, one day the boy left the ball on the front lawn. After dark the annoyed, went over and retrieved the ball. It would have been easy to keep the ball. But these parents would have just gotten another when the boy complained about not having a ball to kick around. These parents just allowed the boy to rule the roost. So (we will call the annoyed person Mr. X) Mr. X took the ball down into his basement and into his shop, and opened the ball up and filled it with rocks, closing it again careful to re-stitching the ball exactly as it was manufactured. Then he placed the ball back onto the lawn, exactly where it first was. Grandpaw…..excuse me….Mr. X never complained about losing sleep that night.
True to form the boy, ran out of the house on Sunday morning and hauled off and kicked the ball as hard as he could, as he had been doing all summer long. Instead of a thud of the ball crashing into the neighbor’s porch, it was ear-piercing screams of pain. Resulting from a broken foot.
From that time on Mr. X got a great night sleep, even on weekends. Problem solved.
Because this happened back in 1950 or so, the parents quietly just learned a lesson along with the boy, about treating your neighbors with some respect. Treating people in the same way as one would like to be treated. Is what people used to say when trying to instruct people on proper behaviours.
These days, people get litigious and sue! So what does one do now days with unreasonable neighbors, whether it is noisy balls being kicked early mornings, or those noisy patriotic flag flying neighbors that are allowing your sleep to be blown away in the wind?
the dangers od butter knives!
ATTLEBORO, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – It seem that butter knives are just to dangerous in the hands of school age children who don’t know better. But then recently in the light of political correctness, other stories have boiled to the surface of our modern asylum. Stories of the boy who got in trouble for throwing imaginary hand-grenades, killing imaginary villains of the world; because he thought of himself while playing an imaginary game of the mind, as imaginary super hero saving the world. Are we now killing the inspiration of any future super hero, who may also see the need and have the willingness to save us from ourselves?
Boy, 7, suspended from school for throwing imaginary hand grenade http://blog.sfgate.com/sfmoms/2013/02/06/boy-7-suspended-from-school-for-throwing-imaginary-hand-grenade/
Have we forgotten that schools back in the olden days taught to imagine, to dream, innovate, invent, while providing inspiration, and encourage students who would guide us all into the future? All sorts of modern products and devices were the result of such an education. Schools should then be dreamland’s of sorts, visionary zones?
Instead we have transformed them to become prisons of insanity, devoid of freely promoting common sense, critical thought, and to dream big or go home. The creed of winners! Isn’t that the way to preparation for a changing future?
We should teach to impress, to create an excitement of learning in students, over the false education that these schools of modern age now teach. Today we paralyze critical thinking through the magnification of present dangers, like those butter knives, and imaginary hand-grenades. We inspire as well teach kids to trust teachers and administrators or other government employees, over even their own parents, by confiscating lunches; declaring them not healthy, uneatable, as if loving parents don’t really care? Lessens that certainly can imprint all sorts of fear in the minds of our youth today.
ATTLEBORO, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – From a toy gun to a butter knife, a new controversy has arisen over an item a student brought to a local school Wednesday.
Morgan LaPlaume, a Wamsutta Middle School student, was simply trying to cut her fruit for lunch because she has braces and can’t take bites out of whole fruit, says the LaPlaume family.
During lunch, the vice principal happened to be walking by when he reportedly saw Morgan with the butter knife, took her to his office, and issued her a suspension.
In the land that gave birth of unlimited imagination, the creed of being “all that you can be”, as well as inspirational entertainments delivering new dreams, imaginations, through the stories of “Super Man” and others,( where good always triumphs over evil). Why do our teachers seem to be behind the learning curve? It seems that only in the specialized education systems of teaching the handicap; is where teachers are still teaching the lessons of self-reliance, the can-do-attitude, supporting efforts through inspiration of overcoming obstacles?
Today we create insurmountable walls out of false standards and the fear of bad lunches, butter knives, and the free will to imagine. We have allowed the evil change to take place, of what we once was thought our teachers were, ” the Supper men and women” of education. But now, allowing them to be transformed into the “JOKERS” of the day!
If you have ever been robbed before, or even if you were one of those special people who helped / rescued a person in trouble before, common sense isn’t a problem to understand, or even practice. It is those text-book theorists, who clams are to be disciples of wisdom, but then fail to use any, that then present the ideas— God, Evil, and Gun control, and lets also include ” Common sense, have nothing in common to each other. But then there is my question… What is right or wrong with, “God’s common sense VS. “Thug rules of charity””?
It isn’t because I’m smarter than anyone. I’m not! But I do believe in some simple truths. God’s common sense can be explained like this. Placing your trust in God, believing that he gave you a brain to use to your full capacity, would be individually and personally empowering. To also take responsibility for using it, even when and if, you the user may come to think, your brain has met its capacity to do so. So many people are there already with the gun control issue. Not to say it may be a challenge at times? But then if you believe, you can then take hold of God’s hand, as your reassurance, that you can do all things with him. Of course accepting the concept of a God, or arguing with yourself, if there even is a God? Could leave you thinking that government will do a better job?
Though you walk through the shadow of the valley of death, you should fear no evil. If you believe in God, and trust in him, this is reassuring. If you don’t believe, and find yourself in the valley’s shadow, confronted by someone who wants your wallet, money, watch, car keys, and your wife and first-born, or your life? In short all of your stuff and maybe your life after all have been taken from you! Let’s just call it “Thug rules of charity”? Because believing in mob rule, has you accepting the role you have to play. Redistributing your efforts and stuff to those who need!
This kind of mindset is identical to the thoughts of government doing everything, because people with charity aren’t doing it voluntarily! All to avoid being called out by those thugs and their entire gall saying. You are the one with a problem of “Greed” not the ones who would take out of need!
While you are fumbling around looking for all that they are demanding of you, for your charitable contribution. You may be contemplating whether or not to pray to God. But then a thought comes to mind. God may have given you some common sense to use before getting to this point? But you didn’t listen. Like a strike of white lightning, you think… perhaps someone will call 911 on your behalf. Government and their agencies will come to your rescue… so stall if you can?
As luck would have it, someone did call! The time it takes for the police to arrive to your aid, the thug could have stabbed you several times, emptied his guns ammo clip into you and your family, or choked the living crap out of you. The main point is that police officers arrive at any crime scene ready to investigate just what happened to the victim/s? Police officers are also armed with adequate weapons to meet any possible remaining threat once they arrive. So why not some less violent confrontation methods? Why not control the kind of weapons, and ammo clips for the police in the same way as the population? If you think that is stupid? You should remember that there are no stupid questions in life. Just misleading answers of those who think of you as stupid— liberals, and government alike.
The only real question is whether or not you would at least at some point put up a fight, a struggle, or some kind of opposition while you wait for help to arrive in order to save your own possessions, family, or even your own skin, let alone the life of another (Like for instance you come upon a women being raped, beaten, or some such)? If the answers to these type of questions are about to be met with some kind of opposition in your thoughts as you read this. Then I must also ask…Would you stop to help someone who was in a car accident, a burning house? How about a dog or cat that a car ran over and is in the middle of the road? What is the difference?
The way I see it is, if you don’t want people to have guns (for whatever flawed reasoning) it is because you don’t wish to do the dirty work of being free, accountable, or responsible! You are a safety whore! A GREEDY person who wants to have the same things others do, “SAFETY from evil doers!” except your totally greedy about it! You would want somebody else to stop and help you in any and all examples already given in this post. All the while reserving the right to justify your inaction to do the same, because it would jeopardize your personal safety, in defending someone else safety. Or you just don’t trust yourself in doing what is right by the law, and if you had a gun? It could tempt you to pull the trigger on the unsuspecting. Not that you’re bad or evil—– the Gun is!!
So what was God’s common sense? Whether you decide to defend yourself and family, or how you personally choosing a weapon to use in such defense, or if you’re going to ever defend in some way against some stranger, or if you chose to do nothing at all? GOD gave us all the sense to know that evil will always be with us. So to use equal weaponry in opposition to the evil that exists, to the emanate threat you’re facing in your shadow’s or in your valley’s, we have God’s gift to exercise our 2nd amendment rights. Unless you’re totally fine with insulting your creator who made you, and gave you more brains than you’re choosing to use? Why should anyone have to defend anyone’s burning house, by un-zipping and peeing on the fire, or helping someone in a car accident by walking the other way, or helping a women that is being beaten and raped by blaming the type of clothing she wore as your running away, and thinking, “Hope she had the time to get some of that free government birth control?”; or even when your left defending yourself and wife and kids from an illegal gun-toting criminal who is blind to following any law and is personally threatening everyone with it? Why should we have to wait for any help from government so far away? Was New York re built with government’s help after the hurricane that devastated parts of the city? Yea, that was real fast in helping people. NOT! Would it be using God-given common sense to quickly look around for the closest butter knife to offer as your primary weapon of choice for a gun fight?
Why should we ask government to out-law, the law-full use of self-protection equal to your evil opposition’s weapon of choice?
Why beat around the bush then? If we can do away with needless deaths of good people at the hands of evil people using a gun; 100% of the time crime is stopped by police officers with… wait for it… a gun! Why out-law the gun, when it makes perfectly good sense to out-law evil people and their actions they choose to use, no matter what the weapons they use?
If you’re liberal, and therefore think guns are bad, and criminals are just good people who are misunderstood, as well harbor a secret / not so secret support of evolution and or abortion? Consider, that the thug wielding a gun in your face, demanding your stuff or you’re life. Is the proof that evolution left on its own, was right in part? We don’t need government to get involved in tinkering with evolution! That gun wielding thug is evolution’s abortionist! Because you’re too stupid to even want the opportunity to choose, (Or use your God-given common sense) to choose the fastest acting, best weapon available to you in defending yourself. But instead you place your blind faith in cowering in fear, waiting for government help to arrive, while praying, hope it doesn’t take too long to get here.
Isn’t that kind of like…… if you should be a prisoner in prison and the one complaining about being raped in prison, hoping that guards will stop it, and soon! At some point in the near future at least you should having the willingness, to then realizing the facts are, it’s the guards who are playing match-maker for profit at you’re expence?
Are you ready and willing to accept those guards, as you’re only protection in this social asylum? When in historical terms of fact, up until the creation of the United States of America, there is a 100% accuracy rating, that all other Governments the world, over the last 6000 years, were all to willingly abusing their people, and their God-given rights, one of which as being— the right to self-protection?
So tell me again, how is it using your GOD given common sense, when you are willing to give you’re GOD given rights away to the devils of the world/government powers, who do abuse them? Isn’t that like saying? “Thanks GOD! But no thanks! Freedom to choose is so over rated! Bless us with tyranny, because we are running out of things to complain about these days.”
All the best.
It seem to me that when the credit card company’s informs those people who certainly have reached their limits of credit, that person should know something about themself’s and what action to then take going forward. But then some brain-dead people, or some adolescent still living at home may see this position differently. After all Government does! So why not see things the same way they do?
Obama said the other day. “The debt limit was and is being used as an economic weapon by certain political party’s.” ( paraphrased )
Did he suggests that the evil banks/congress was behind this kind of limiting? Did they not understand his well-intentioned spending? Every time I get the rejection from my credit card reaching its limits, that’s the first thing that pops into my mind. My things I need, everything I buy is well-intentioned spending, my important personal needs. Don’t they know how uncomfortable life is without TP?
The government gives away things like food stamps, but when it comes to free TP stamps, they must assume that everyone still gets news papers delivered to their homes. Why not TP stamps for everyone, just to make the world in our corner a bit more presentable, a lot less likely to smell like ass. ( If you have ever taken public transit, you know!) Making humanity comfortable, and life bearable, makes a more happy-go-lucky and willing taxpayer, and a whole lot less likely that those who are on the government dole will riot over not getting their fair share. That must certainly be the first job of government, in maintaining power?
Arguments can be made that government passes out too much free stuff. Some of late have even complained that we have become a food-stamp nation. No one is even complaining about the future limiting of people’s ability to have access to TP, net alone using it on a regular basis. Giving it away for free wouldn’t cause a shortage of it, but it would cause a small economic boom for more jobs in the paper products industry. A win, win solution indeed.
There are some in government who would say. ” It isn’t governments job to flush good money down the toilet after bad.” Is that saying something in a back-handed way about food stamps, or spending money on credit?
Doing away with credit limits for government social justice, is justified. After giving the ability for people to feed their own pie-holes with help from the government, and yet purposefully forgetting to include the opinion, give the people the means to take care of their own bun-holes, would be cruel indeed! On the same plane as torture at the very least.
It is governments job to protect the value of money. So printing new money to then buy the nations debt, explains away the need of having any debt limits at all. The bills always get paid with new money printed. Presto! Problem solved, just like going to work for a paycheck/new money, without having to do so. So it is with an overly simplistic way to explain high finance to what has become all to common place in the minds of the average citizen who don’t see any problems with these kinds of governmental solutions. Of course, what seem to be plain paper being used by most people as TP today. Will end up being not quite as soft feeling printed paper, with pictures of dead presidents and numbers on it tomorrow.
What was that all to famous quote by “Dirty Hairy” in the movies? ” You have to know your limitations!”
We must all recognize that things of great value are things in limited supply or limited in availability like some great work of art. A dead artist can’t make another great work, so there is what seems great value to the work that was done. So when the president asked for the ability to remove all debt limits on the nation’s ability to print, and spend. What he was asking for was to raise the value of TP that is still being made with that softer feel to it these days. While telling you that the value of the nation will certainly be reduced by its borrowing. Giving our kids the bills to pay later on down that so-called political road. Is that the work of some great political artist, and will his work represent great value tomorrow?
When you think about it…….. Global warming is slowly killing the planet by cutting down trees. So limiting our printing of money and borrowing money is also controlling the rate of growth of global warming. Wouldn’t it? Prehaps political hot air is the main source of global warming; causing the financial destruction of our nations buying power, with polices of throwing ourself’s over the fiscal cliff while trying to jump higher and higher mountains of unlimited debt without looking to see how deep the hole is first. Unlimited, leads to unlimited and unrecoverable failures, by not recognizing the danger in the first place beyond those limits set already.
“Toilet bowl politics looks for unlimited ability to maintain power by compleat political idiots with the policies of “limitless possibility’s” presented as political geniuses. But true genius recognises there are limits, insane idiots don’t!” mindwarpfx
