The Christmas shopping sprit.

This women who just had to have a certain toy for her kids, to her was the most important thing in world. Standing in line, patiently waiting along with all of the other people who also had the same ideas going through their heads. She looked like everyone else. In this christmas shopping season, black friday to be exact. Some people were humming christmas songs, trying to pass the time, as well as maintaining an uplifting spirit.

The crowed started to get some electric charge with-in themself’s as the store employee started to unlock the stores massive front doors. After unlocking the doors the employee stepped outside briefly to greet the shoppers.

“Mary Christmas, and happy holidays! Welcome. Let the shopping begin!” They announced to everyone.

The crowed pushed forward towards the now open doors. The women who only was there for the toys her kids, rushed towards the toy section of the store. Crowds had gotten there first. The toy was or seemed like the most popular this year. At the advertised price, making it even more sought after then usually. As she neared the rack she saw only one more all to her horror. She pushed harder to move with-in arms length just to grab-it, if it all possible. No sooner than she was about to attempt the reach. Someone took the last one.

“NO! Oh NO you don’t! That’s mine for my kids.” she hollered out.

People turned briefly to look at what was going on, and how close the commotion was to themself’s. Tucking away what they had already picked up just to protect these items from others who only seem like mad shoppers at this point, or at least reacting all angry or crazy. Rushing the other way as far as they could, it was all to close.

suddenly! A pinkish cloud of power bellowed out of what appeared to be from this unhappy shopper hand. Then the pepper hit the senses, the eyes and lungs, making it hard to see and breath all at the same time.

“You are going to give me that toy!” The shopper sprayed more of the pink powder, towards one shopper in particular. ” Give it up!” She ordered. unfazed by the pepper spray.

The pepper spray enveloped the shopper face. The eyes started to instantly burn. Her breath was shortened by gagging, as the toy was wretched out of her grasp. Shoppers were running away from the seen, with mild pepper burning, watering eyes. Wondering just what was going on? What would cause someone to whip out pepper spray, while christmas shopping. What has christmas shopping season come to? Was this just some rouse to shop-lift some desired thing that someone didn’t have the money to pay for it?

What is the Christmas season really for? Is the most important thing about Christmas, the presents we buy for everyone in our lives. Life seems so cheep when we value even our celebrations of religious traditions with petty unlawful actions. There doesn’t seem no greater examples of self-centered selfishness then acting with total lack of concern for anyone else of the human race. This is materialism out of control. During a time of the Christmas season. A time of the year of celebration of compassion towards others, and good will towards all men / women.

This really happened on black friday this year. At this time the person who peppered sprayed the shoppers vanished. It is not known if they couldn’t pay for the toy, or paid for it and got away.

I told my kids if they put toys on their lists, they must also pick a good toy they already have to give away to someone else. We then will take the toys to children’s hospital, giving them to terminally ill kids. This also teaches kids to be thankful for what they have. Both in toys and health, as they give their old toys and some new away. They also get a chance to see / feel first hand what it is to be charitable. Is this the future of the spirit of Christmas kept alive? Or should I have given presents of pepper spray, in preparation for next shopping season?

All the best!

No felony charges for Black Friday pepper spray suspect http://www.cnn.com/2011/12/09/justice/california-pepper-spray-suspect/index.html #cnn

This story is dramatization of a true story but wasn’t ment to be fact filled, as a matter of fact. The basic story is true. To my knowledge the pepper sprayer never was caught. But then I investigated some more and found these updates.( the links to the news stories) Have a look and read the news as it was. My points are still the questions that need to be asked. CHEERS!
